  1. Rough Country 2.5" Leveling Kit

If you have an air chisel, remove the nut. Itā€˜s definitely safer than trying to pry down on the control arm. If you don’t, go by way of the vise. You don’t want to try and beat on the axle. You want a chisel end that fits inside of the axle hole. You’ll fight it without the air tools if you...
  2. Show me your leveled trucks on OEM wheels!

No reason other than upgraded shocks and coils for the little roads around here. I won’t really wheel this Ranger as I have a Jeep Rubicon on 37’s I use for most off-road treks. I will say this truck rides pretty damn good but I wish it had a little less sway. I ordered some rear Fox shocks to...
  3. Show me your leveled trucks on OEM wheels!

Best one i’ve got. I’m not sure what the exact lift was, because I didn’t measure before. I wasn't too worried about it because I still wanted a tiny rake, otherwise I would have went to the 2.5. The hardware that comes with it sucks. The spacers are great. Basic stuff. The Firestone’s are...
  4. Shuttle trucks!

Thats more like it. You don’t need no stinking peddles.
  5. New vs Old, Then and Now

My first car a 1967 Fairlane GT 390 4 speed. Many in between throughout the years. And some of the ford products in no particular order. New Ranger 1993 Fox My brand new 1993 notch. Lol. Look at that phone. My 1966 7 litre 4 speed 1966 fairlane 289 20k mile 1989 fox Tuned 2012 3.5...
  6. Beautiful Pictures

I have run the entire alpine loop and it’s amazing every time. You won’t have any issues running every trail with the Ranger. Poughkeepsie would be the only hiccup. Even then, on the right line you’ll make it. Black bear will be a little tight but doable. Those pics of Animas Forks are great!
  7. D vs S Drive Mode

I run in S mode in town and D on the highway. Although I love this little truck, it definitely needs a tune for the transmission. My 2.0 turbo Rubicon on 37s will run circles around my Ranger around town. FCA did a spectacular job tuning the 8 speed. You can’t tell me Ford can’t do the same...
  8. You know you spend to much time on Ranger5g when you get this.

I know the feeling. They’re bored.
  9. Beautiful Pictures

Can’t wait for the snow to melt.. I keep running the same trails year after year and it never gets old.
  10. Low MPG at higher altitude......maybe an issue?

I’m at 7k and have no issues with fuel economy.
  11. hard bed cover

    Probably bakflip or undercover.
  12. White letters in or out?

Definitely out. I mean, I paid for them, so I’m damn well going to use them. :like:
  13. Pizza Cutters

    I would really like to try the KO2 in 34 10.50 17.
  14. Level/Lift kits - did you reuse hardware?

    We reused everything.
  15. Shrockwork sliders

Not sure why they would shut them down. Maybe the admin can explain. Here are some pics. Terrific quality. Super easy install. Horrible customer service, with little to no communication. I would say it’s growing pains but they’ve been around for years and have always had the same reputation...
  16. Shrockworks sliders installed today

No I ordered them with the Christmas discount which was the same. It was about 7weeks
  17. Shrockworks sliders installed today

I’m sure. They seems overbuilt. That’s not a complaint.
  18. Shrockworks sliders installed today

Yeah, mine are glossy. Very nice coating. I am quite impressed. As slow as they are, it seems they made up for it with quality.
  19. Shrockworks sliders installed today

They used to call them dumpsters. Now, since they’re green, they’re recycle bins.
