Think it pulled on on the cv when I moved the lca down, it's not the hub side it's the diff side cv that sounds like the noise/ rattle is from wondering if it's fixable or needs a shop at this point to fix/ replace.
Anyone got any solutions 3 ford dealerships around me are all a week out before they'll see me but truck is pretty bad with the cv probably being messed up because of me.
Just put everything on and ziptied the rear resis think I messed up a cv hahah fuck will take it apart in the morning and see if I can just reseat it or something
Ya i have the 2.0s the pictures all show a piece between the two bodies and then two clamps I didn't get the clamps or the piece for between there isn't a hard mount like the 2.5s you have.
Ya like i said i meant to go with it in the first place, but i have the regular 2.5 showing up tomorow and i leave for alaska on monday not sure if i want to send it back and wait the few weeks and do the drive without them.
*probably cheaper to go with the reservoirs in the first place aswell...
The ICONs are upgradeable by changing out the top caps of the bodies. its 100% changeable just don't know the cost off the top of my head, might make sense when you do a rebuild. I bought the non reservoir versions by accident but doing a trip next week so gonna put these in and maybe upgrade later.
I ordered the front 2.5 without the remote resevoirs by accident. Do you think it's worth all the trouble to send them back and get them with resevoirs? Not doing much high-speed stuff but some forest roads and back country stuff.
