AB3Z-2780-A Is an entire replacement assembly, only $43 if you break it. Seems almost too cheap, you might want to double check that.
1) There is a central tpms receiver that picks up all 4 sensors. The receiver doesn't care where the tpms sensor is but it has to be told which corner or wheel the sensor is at. Hence the reset or relearn.
2) If you don't reset/relearn/retrain/teach the tpms system it will continue work...
First part of this shows how the panel/boot comes off, well kinda anyway. Handle looks to be all one piece or glued together. Hard to tell from a 3d render though.

Gas gauges aren't the most accurate things in the world. Maybe your only at about 1/8 tank instead of 1/4. The first 1/4-1/3 tank seems to last the longest, then the needle drops pretty hard after that.

Forscan essentially changes module configurations/features that would otherwise be available in other vehicles (this is why its called "as-built" data).
It does not change the logic/programming of those modules.
Its a cluster mentality. You could be the only vehicle in the entire lot and someone will park next to you. Its incredibly annoying.
