Underboost codes are pretty common in the ecoboost and powerstrokes. You know what code it was? The sct tuner should be able to pull it. Check all the vacuum lines and intake pipes for leaks. Make sure all the clamps are there and are tight.

Just did sync 3.4 update. No climate either. Enabled the 3 forscan climate items in the apim, and didn't show up immediatly. Did a soft reboot and it was there. All fine now. Sync 3.3 looked better IMO. My build date is 11/19. Heres my 7D0-04-01...

Just want to add that turbo housings are cast iron and typically aren't painted because of the extreme heat. And bare cast iron will instantly rust but is just a surface rust. Nothing to worry about. Every turbo ever made will look like that after the first good heat cycle.
