I am not 100% sure I am correct and I am sure someone will chime in if I'm not, But I recall reading it at one point that the USB ports stay powered for 2 hours after ignition is off.

No worries..... It does shut off, but I don't recall after how long. I think it is 15 or 20 minutes. It probably says in the Amazon link.

Im my truck it does adjust the temp accordingly and yes, when you get in, you have to hit the start button.

I feel your pain....

I second the "Night light" mod..... If you have a 110V outlet in the rear of the center console, plug in a night light and that will cancel the start stop. Going on 3 years with no issues.

Here is how I blocked off my fresh air inlet. I cut some wire mesh down to about 3x5 and secured it with butyl tape after cleaning the paint inside that area to help it stick. I used shoe goo on top of that and it is holding on solid! ALso.... Check your air cleaner for mice/rats too. I used...
