I had this happen on my Ranger about a year after I bought it... Luckily I was still under the warranty and Ford replaced them. It's been fine ever since. Good to know there are a few solutions to fix it with a little elbow grease.

Looking good! I have the same parts for my steering wheel to install..... Did you pull the trim and airbag out to install the steering wheel cover ?

6'2'' Here and have the same issues.... I have not found a permanent solution that I like yet, But you guys have some great ideas.

I also use this and it is an amazing product!!! I also clean/prep my tires with 303 Rubber cleaner prior to applying the Rubber Care. Hope this helps.

The mess I pulled out of mine yesterday smelled sooo nasty.... My truck still smelled this morning and I just finished washing out between the bed and cab and cleaning the bed after pulling the sound deadener material through the small holes in the bed.

Ouch..... That is not fun! Hopefully they can get these things fixed right for you and you won't have anymore issues. Sorry to hear about your truck.

I totally forgot about this until the thread got bumped. I just went and looked between my cab and bed and it is packed! The last time I looked back there was 2 years ago. ugh.
