Whoaa..... Soooo our A/C clutches are always engaged, and the radiator fluid is flowing through the airbox at all times.... and all that stops it from effecting the AC during the summer is the crappy heat door/flap? Any video or photo's on how you incorporated the DIY heater valve?

Since my discovery, I have been checking under my hood a lot more lately. At night I have been setting a trap under the hood. I attached it to a couple pieces of scrap wood so a rat can't drag the trap away if it doesn't get a kill shot. I put my keys in a bag to remind me to pull out the trap...

I live in the city, Park on the street, and drive it daily. Ya' just never know. Ford sucks for using soy based wire cover, and for not putting a screen over the inlet to the heater system. What a complete fail.

Good idea on the LED coverage as there are so many, even though they have a longer life than standard bulbs. I just ran my info and with $100 deductible, key fob coverage and LED coverage for 10yr/100K is $2400. $1000 Cheaper than Galpin ford. :thumbsup:

Thanks for this info.... I am looking into an extended warranty and my local ford dealer quoted me $3400 for an 8yr/80k warranty which I thought was way too high. I wasn't aware I could buy the ESP from any dealer.

Sub'd.... I've been wanting to do this since day 1. I hope it works.... Paddle shifters should have been a factory option.
