Thanks for the help Phil, to your point about the rims i don't believe they are hubcentric, (if that where the rim sits or hangs on a ring on the hub, these rims are not that, they are offset @ 25mm so stick out 1''and a 1/8 over the 55mm factory . I TQ'd to 100 per spec using the star pattern...
yea i do have the original factory tires/wheels with only 8,500 miles plan to use them as winter setup since they are the A/T type tread and the new ones are more H/T.
Same size i didn't go up but tread pattern & brand are different not savvy as to if that would make a difference on the process...
So installed my setup from Tire Rack a couple days ago and today did a 180 mile road trip and almost immediately upon hitting 62 mph (approx) and up thru around 80mph a noticeable and annoying vibration that was not present before the changes, the steering wheel is not shimming it tracks...
Unfortunately i don't personally know a welder, now for some cash I'm sure i could call him a friend LOL.
@chrisakz
Or don't use the 'D' ring and just hook the 'S' hook from your ratchet strap to the metal strap bar that OP Buddybiro posted above that would closely replicate what the factory...
Mine clearly leans to the left side at the rear, curious so i measured to see what the diff would be, from the center of the wheel cap to the bottom edge of the wheel molding lip 24''on pass side,
23''on drivers w/full tank. I'm going to measure again when tank gets near or as close to empty...
That's a real beauty enjoy it, the F150's ride very nice i had a '18 SC for 3 years and was totally impressed in how it rode & handled, very comfy.
Although the overall size was a bit of a PITA in parking lots and a full size truck w/the V8 5.0 turned out not to be practical for me, the only...
Hey all thanks for the replies and ideas, i think the best way for me is the roll on bedliner (no overspray) applied only to the side walls, wheel wells and bulkhead areas, the truck has the Ford accessories rubber mat which actually is very good quality and it is not difficult to slide & move...
Appreciate the reply but yea I'm not interested in going to the drop in liner style, while I've had them in the past this Ranger had this rubber bed mat and tailgate piece which I'm pretty impressed with it even has a bed/ tailgate gap netting or material to stop debris from getting into the...
For those who have a bed mat, carpeted or the Ford accessory rubber one (like i have) I'm trying to figure out a way to protect the bulkhead wall and side walls from getting damaged when carrying stuff.
Have you tried the spray on bed liner material or just left in alone? Thoughts or pics.
TIA, Rob.
OK so that may be the answer to the mystery, if the cargo lights are led so are the map lights in the overhead console ,just not under standing what package level this comes with, but in any case mine didn't lol.
Mine is definitely not led, and i looked at the Rangers buyers guide spec printout and don't see anything specific on what package gets led or not, in fact there's no mention at all about interior lighting upgrade, it does mention led cargo lighting so maybe if a truck is equipped with that it...
I opened up the panel with the helpful tip by member above 'OC4095' and as my pic below shows it doesn't have serviceable bulbs , although the lights color seem to be like a incandescent yellowish color not the white color like a led type.
Also i was able to read the part # from the sticker...
I leave that window open for the dog to look out and sniff the air,
also it’s great ventilation when on the highway when the front roll down fully open airflow is to strong., easy to reach back in a Scab.
And there was a thread on this forum about a aftermarket piece iirc.
No and i looked at the manual it doesn't list any bulb for the map light (or even a map or console light at all) from what i could see when i had tried looking close thru the lens it may be the glass tube type bulb like this;
And i won't really have a chance to mess with till the end of this...
