Figured I'd get some blowback. ? Nope, just an old retired guy answering a question. 17 something mpg with my Ram. 19.2 with the Ranger. Full disclosure though...I do have hemis in both my jeeps. 5.7 and a 6.4

Cabin space and all those hidden cubbies. Ram makes use of every nook and cranny. Material quality. Hemi towing ability and not cutting mpg in half while towing. Overall stoutness. I could go on, but don't want to talk myself into looking at Rams again. Ford Ranger was almost an impulse buy...

Some good replies above. I'll add that I traded a 2017 Ram 1500. Liking the Ranger more than expected, but do miss the Ram on occasion. Not enough to trade back on the next purchase.....yet.

Run that psi with a tune and you'll need to budget for new rear tires soon. Wet road acceleration at that PSI with a tune.....hang on and have some toilet paper handy.

My buddy and I were discussing the same pendulum theory this morning. (Reference society etc.) Only we're concerned the pendulum swings over the top 12 o'clock position and spins out of control.

Happy for y'all getting great mileage. I'm getting 19.2 average with what I consider normal to conservative driving. (On board computer calculated) FX2 with 4k miles. 55 and under mph around my rural area.
