Did my first tow earlier this week. Towed a Forest River Aurora Light 16BHX. I used a 2in drop hitch. The sweet spot for towing speed for me seemed to be between 65-70mph.
Do you happen to know if there are any issues with, or tricks do undoing the wiring for the connectors? Or can they just be removed and moved around fairly easily? I'll be sending my truck back to the shop on Monday morning.
I just noticed that when the brakes are activated the white lights come up top also activate. This isn't normal right?
I just had the trailer brake controller installed, I'm guessing the shop wired things wrong.
I just went with an EverStart from Walmart local to me. They had an H7 available but not any H6s, so that is the main reason for me going with it. Though the extra capacity might be useful since I do have a dashcam installed...
After about a year of truck falling into deep sleep when turned off the battery finally completely died. I never bothered to change it sooner because I figured I had a jumper box and could just jump it when needed then get a new battery. Things didnt work that way, when the battery died it was...
Yeah a good bit of my driving is highway. That being said the chips I had on the hood weren't too bad, 4 small spots that I was able to fill with one press of the paint pen each.
The painted portion of of the vehicle under the headlights and grille I noticed one slight bigger spot and one...
Fixed some paint chips with a touch up paint pen. After it all dried I then installed an AVS Aeroskin hood protector that I got on sale at Amazon. Hopefully it does a decent job of protecting the hood from chips.
I got our Ranger washed today, noticed some paint chips so I fixed them with a touch up paint pen. After it all dried I then installed an AVS Aeroskin hood protector that I got on sale at Amazon. I think it came out looking good, and hopefully I won't have so many paint chips to touch up on the...
My phone was sitting on my dash when I noticed the Ranger popped up a message "unable to download message." I checked my phone because I knew I didn't have bluetooth on and I did indeed get a message. How the hell did the truck know about the message?
The magnet is strong enough to hold it to the steel, but not strong enough to keep it from sliding when there is shaking or vibrations. Where I put them they are kind of wedged in the corner so when I press the button it doesn't really have room to move.
Some magnetically attached battery powered LED lights for the bed of my truck, I have a tonneau cover so its dark in there at night. They fit nicely right under the rear tie downs by the tailgate.
