Got the spare down just to confirm what I actually had there and it was as expected. Just a little gravel, sand, and water on the wheel so I cleaned it off. Also checked the pressure and it was still good. Guess I'll be ordering what I need now. Thanks to everyone for the info.
I was getting into the backseat storage and I noticed some surface rust on the hinge hardware. Also noticed the seat isn't exactly centered, since one side is more covered up than the other, but I'm not OCD enough to worry about that. The covered up side did have similar rust.

Shouldn't any manufacturer wheel fit there? I always thought if you had to change out a spare that one should store the flat tire there. I assumed it wouldn't be great for the chain to just be bouncing around empty while driving.
My truck is coming up on 7k miles and I'm thinking its about time to do a tire rotation. I have an FX4 with a spare that I'm thinking of rotating in. I know I'm going to need to buy a matching wheel since the spare has a steel wheel. I found them for sale at this site below for $150, unless...
I have an XL FX4, on previous road trip I remember going through the screens an was able to pull up an Instant MPG display. When I would let off the gas going down hills and whatnot it would show high numbers like 60-99mpg. Recently I was trying to pull up that screen again but I only see the...
2020 Supercrew FX4, has about 6k miles on it now. Previously when I was driving up to San Antonio and back to the Corpus area, the computer was showing a range of 299 miles. I was wondering why I was getting such low mpg. On the highways I was driving about 80-85mph.
Recently we vacationed at a...
I don't mind price increases, since inflation is real. What I do hate is cheapening out a product. These days companies will sell inferior products at increased costs. So often even when you are willing to pay more for the better product you cant because it is no longer sold.
Does anyone have a matching spare wheel and do a 5 tire rotation? How do the shops handle that? Do they remove and stow the spare themselves, or do you just keep in the bed for them and stow it yourself after?
I've throw a few pics of mine on IG in the recent past. Hopefully this year I'll have some more adventures and take some pics. You could probably just follow the tag #FordRanger
