Since I see quite a bit of amber in here, I've just been wondering whats the advantage to amber light vs white? Is it just personal preference? Just curious. Thanks.
Wow, and for $80 I'd say that's a deal. How was mounting them? I haven't looked too closely on my own truck yet but are there holes or something to mount these up?
I'd really like to buy this from you, but we're about 3 hours away. I live AT the Tail of the Dragon, just in case you plan on coming this way some time soon.
Yeah if I leave it alone, it likes to keep 2nd then at the crest of the driveway at the end, it will sometimes harshly shift into 1st. I'm locking gears out and messing with it to try and find the best and friendliest option for the transmission.
No. Regular 2wd mode.
14° gravel is no joke...
I have a 100ft long 12° angle driveway. Think of that as fairly steep. When I come home, I lock out all the gears except first. Halfway up the driveway, the truck jolts pretty darn violently the continues on. Its like the truck is in 2nd and shifts VERY harshly to first except its already in...
Well what I really had in mind was the turbo spooling and not so much the blow off valve. But our turbo is so small, I think it has to work pretty hard to detect the spooling sound.
Well good news. I heard the little snail under the hood on the way home when combining a steep mountain with S mode and the windows down. So, there's that. First time using sport mode and I must say I like it. What a difference.
LOL wow. It's OK I expected this which is why I said this may be a stupid post!! ?
Am I deaf? A little. I'm 42 and I've not yet done much in S mode since I'm under the the first oil change. I can try that though.
Yeah this is possibly a stupid post I realize but I've always wanted a turbocharged vehicle largely for the cool sounds. Well imagine my surprise when I bought my first ever turbo truck here and I cant hear it at all. My dad had a '16 Expedition with a twin turbo 3.5L and those things whistled...
Just a quick observation from definitely-not-an-audiophile. The treble and mids, even when adjusted up, sound like there are blankets covering the speakers. Anybody else notice this? Would a speaker upgrade fix it?
