  1. Help finding part number for side mirrors

Yep I ended up discovering that in my searches. I guess I'll just table this idea for now. Didnt notice that sneaky turn signal at first.
  2. Help finding part number for side mirrors

I'm surprised it's not an order-able part. Damn. Ok thanks for the info.
  3. Help finding part number for side mirrors

Hey guys I'm having a pretty difficult time finding the part numbers for the outside side mirror covers, in iconic silver. The lariat has the body colored side mirrors and my XLT does not, so I'd like to upgrade. Can anybody help me find the part numbers for both mirror covers in silver for my...
  4. Finally got my new '22 Ranger. Some observations and questions..

Well I took it to a Ford dealer with a bodyshop. They were really nice and helpful and the manager did say to give him 30min so he could adjust it. When I picked it up, I have to say there really wasnt much difference; it might take just slightly less effort to get it to shut on both sides. As...

Get whatever info you can about this memo and see if they have any more info regarding a recall or TSB. Thanks!
  6. Finally got my new '22 Ranger. Some observations and questions..

Yeah its funny when I was speaking in the video, in the back of my mind I was thinking it sounds like I'm expecting Mercedes-like panel gaps. I'm not. I just think it should be a little more even. As it turns out, if I slam the tailgate, it shuts and all seems pretty normal at least as far as...
  7. 303 GRAPHENE NANO SPRAY COATING

Two quick questions. You mentioned you used a sponge to apply it. What kind of sponge? Could you link to a pic? Also someone, maybe Pan, mentioned it wasnt slick once this product was applied. Is the paint grabby or still fairly slick and smooth after applying?

Video of tailgate woes. Taking to dealer in the morning. We'll see what they say.
  9. Finally got my new '22 Ranger. Some observations and questions..

Thanks for all the comments. The truck is going to the body shop Wednesday (a Ford dealer with a body shop) to see what can be done about the protruding tailgate. My only hope is that the tailgate hinges have some adjustability although it doesnt look like they do from my point of view. The...
  10. Dean's 3D Printed Ignition Trim Ring Bezel (Build/Buy Thread)

Just received and installed mine. It's the most perfect implementation of a 3d printed part to a vehicle that I've ever seen. Very happy with it. Thanks Dean!
  11. Oem mudflap hardware.

Can I buy any accessories and offset the cost with Ford points? I want some running boards and have the 42k points which I'm told is about $210.
  12. Finally got my new '22 Ranger. Some observations and questions..

If I hadn't joined this forum, I likely wouldn't have bought the damper based purely on the lack of a need. My expected tailgate use would be maybe twice per month. The fact that the tailgate just falls down and doesn't lower slowly would probably never have crossed my mind. However, if I'm...

No the truck is fresh off the delivery semi at the dealer. Thats just the way the factory made it. My new tailgate damper is in the mail and should be here any day now. I will resist installing it until this issue is sorted.

I tried this on the way home from work and indeed it calmed the transmission down quite a bit. Still shifts alarmingly hard (but I'm also coming from a CVT car) As soon as property taxes are paid, I'll probably do the rear Bilsteins then the fronts when I can. I've already started. Bought the...

Far western NC, in Graham County. Tail of the Dragon area.
  16. Finally got my new '22 Ranger. Some observations and questions..

This is what I was thinking as well. On my drive home from work I'll try both tow/haul as well as sport and see if that chills out the transmission. I'm a light foot driver and I usually try to squeeze out the MPG's on my work commute but this transmission only want to LUG all the time. First...

I will get some pics when I get home. If I simply knew what to adjust I'm sure I could take care of it and not have to waste time at a dealer.
