I didn't want to start a whole new thread, but I'm wondering where my ASS is...
Haven't received truck, just put deposit down, I don't see the $50 credit they give since they stopped being included, but I don't see the feature listed on the sticker either...
Will I have ASS? I'm a big fan of...
I believe it. All I'm looking for is a '22 XLT 4WD w/locking diff and trailer package. Thats $39k and NO dealer will sell it for that price. Best offer I've gotten is $42,600 out the door. I also have x plan, and no dealer will honor it.
Just an update today in case people didn't see my update yesterday, it seems this isn't a big deal and may be just part of owning a direct injection engine which I've never had before. So, its fine. Still shopping for one if I can only find a decent deal. I am pretty religious with maintenance...
Good to know. But, how else would you like me to research? What should I do? You have ruled out checking the enthusiasts forums and seeing what actual owners think. Ok, so what does that leave me? Should I pull over Ranger owners on the road? Should I follow them into Walmart and ask about their...
Yes this is a good point. Could always do the whole extended warranty thing. I was actually only thinking of keeping my {yet to be bought} '22 until the 23 model came out. So of course I wouldn't have but maybe 20k miles on it anyway by then.
I was about to plunk down the down-payment and go ahead and buy my silver '22 Xlt Ranger but after coming across all the oil dilution issues (reading through the threads) I'm afraid I'll have to cross this otherwise great truck off my shopping list. I want something that has some longevity to...
So, I've now honed in on exactly what I want to buy but I'm wondering how much flexibility to expect the dealer to have on the sticker price. Yes, I know the times we're in but I also study up on car negotiations and feel like if there is room to be made I will have a good chance.
'22 Ranger XLT...
Right but I'm not understanding what will be for sale after that. I hear that Europe gets the new redesigned model first, then USA gets it in '24 or for the '24 model year.
Question is, what will be the 2023 American ranger? The current model? Will we just not have a ranger for 2023?
Can someone clear up some confusion? I'm hearing the 2022 Ranger order banks close Friday and the new design Ranger will release in Europe first before coming to the US in 2024. So... will there just not be a new Ranger for sale for 2023 in the US? Would it be the same design as the 22?
That deal is dead. Someone had been telling me they can get me Z plan the whole time I was shopping. I found a good deal and went to take them up on their offer, and its only an X plan. Dont get me wrong, thats nice.... but its no Z plan. Currently, waiting for stocks to go back up enough for me...
WAVERLY! Been there done that. I was in the death tunnel with a Mag-Lite flashlight. I set it on the ground and asked whatever was there to turn it off, and if it did, my group would leave it alone. Welp, it did; so we left. My own personal flashlight turned off while sitting on the ground. Nuts.
Welp, guess its my turn. I'm Justin and I HOPE to order my ranger this weekend. I say HOPE because I have some stocks I'd use as my down-payment but stocks have absolutely TANKED lately. I'll probably go ahead anyway, since I should have 4+ months to add to my down-payment. The best deal I can...
I'm about to order, and this is the first I've heard of a low speed vibration. Is this something the dealer can correct?
Also, congrats! Thats a long wait.
