I have a Leer 100R on my FX4 and carry two "tool" boxes plus sometimes a dog kennel with a 90lb. Lab and have been getting about 23.2 mpg. But then I don't have a nice long straight flat anywhere around. It's up and down any way I go. I don't know if the topper is aerodynamic but it sure pulls...
I trapped two mice inside the cab after I found a paper all torn up in the back footwell. I also had a pack rat (bushy tail Woodrat) in the engine compartment who chewed the edge of the hood sound deadening pad. I finally caught it in a live trap and drowned the bugger.
I have a 2019 XLT FX4 with the 301A package. After reading all the posts, I just had to check. The shift selector lights go on when the door is opened but then go off when the truck is started. When the headlights are turned on the selector lights go on but no indicator. I always use the dash...
I'm disappointed that only the two door Bronco has a manual transmission. I think there is a lot of potential Bronco buyers who would like a manual transmission option in all the Bronco versions. Why do the engineers think everyone wants automatic. Manual is much better for off-roading.
Weathertech mud flaps, Ford floorliners, AVS bugdeflector, running boards, bed topper and bed floor liner are all things you should consider. They are on my money pit.
I tried the indents to close the door and quickly realized this is a joke. My fingers slid right off the indents without the door closing. If that was the intention of the indents then they would have been made the other way with the "ridge" on the inside . I agree with Phil that it is part of...
To make my 2019 XLT Silver Ranger just the way I need it I spent $3300 so far on a Leer matching topper, Go Rhino running boards, a bed mat, Weather Tech floor mats and an AVS bug deflector. I'm waiting for Weather Tech splash guards but haven't spent the money yet.
I have to say that my local dealer, "Hellman Ford" has been great to deal with. They know me personally and I've got good deals from them. The service department is great to work with, also. I've bought 5 different Fords from them over the years and never have had buyers remorse.
I bought my Ranger without running boards with the idea of getting after market boards that were less expensive than the Ford running boards. I purchased Go Rhino boards which I easily installed myself using the supplied brackets and the factory holes in the frame. I'm 5'10" and use them to get...
I spent Thanksgiving driving my brothers Subaru Impressa and drove home in my Ranger crew cab XLT FX4. I kept saying to my wife how much I loved the truck and how great it was driving it over three Colorado passes. The seats were much better than the Subaru and airplane seats. Also it was much...
I sold my 2003 Super Cab Ranger to my daughter (really cheap) before my 2019 came in so didn't get a picture of them together. Will get a picture when I visit her at Thanksgiving.
