Sounds like you have driven the Ranger already, what about the V6 F150? An extended cab F150 will have very little backseat room compared to a SuperCrew, so if you ever put people in the back the Ranger is better.
3.3L V6 is 290 hp @ 6500 rpm and 265 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm. Compare that to 270 HP and 310 ft-lbs in the 2.3L EcoBoost.
Towng and payload numbers are very similar as well.
It comes down to do you want a bigger truck than the Ranger with similar performance numbers?
