Installed a Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller. Spent a lot of time looking for the factory wires. Ford wasn't too generous on the length, especially difficult for a southpaw doing a right hander job. End result is fine, got everything hooked up and working.
Easier to level the truck by raising the front a couple of inches. Back in the day we would lower small trucks by mounting the rear axle above the leaf springs and installing drop spindles in the front.
I run a 5 Star 91 tune on 92 octane gas. At highway speeds my Ranger will break the rear tires loose under hard acceleration. Got my attention the first time it did that!
