I have driven all over Colorado with my Ranger and i've never had an issue passing people on high passes. Stock the truck was fantastic and with the truck tuned running 91 and e50 its a rocket. Just last weekend I passed a long line of campers on Wilkerson pass reaching triple digits with ease...
I hardly notice it anymore. I can see out from under the tent if I was worried about a Tree or car riding my butt. However, the amount of time backing up and the inclusion of a camera along with not really needing to see cars that are far behind haven’t caused me to regret the placement. The MPG...
Very well said. I decide on it for the long trips. Never having to buy ice and deal with soggy wet mess is worth the price alone. I used my REI 20% which saved me $220.
The fridge uses on average 1.2ah at 36*.
The “Yesterday” usage is from filling the fridge with food and drinks at ambient...
Decided to install a fridge in the bed for the longer camping trips. Has made life on the trail even more enjoyable and easier to keep healthy foods around.

I fully expected the worst service and a...
The BMS keeps the battery at a steady 12.9-13.5 on my truck most of the days. When I run the air compressor at idle it will start charging to 14.5 until its satisfied then it settles in at 12-13 again.
I’d really like an LSD so I don’t have to worry about breaking any axles. However, seeing as my local off road shop said the front differential on these is a new design (not sure about that) it might be a long time before anything like an LSD is available.
Some of the pretty common sounds you will hear:
Fuel system priming happens when you unlock the doors and will also do it if you refresh “Vehicle Info” on the ford pass app. Anytime the truck does a status check it will make some mechanical sounds.
There is also the wastegate solenoid which...
It’s an 1/8th of an inch different from one side to the other. Which is pretty acceptable imo since the fuel tank is on the side that’s lower along with my tool box. 40.75” is correct on drivers side measurement.
