It would be nice to see some diagrams of what parts are in the HVAC system on here to see if there is an electric heating element in the system. I had the smell when new but at 19k now I don’t smell it anymore. I leave my temp set to 72 on auto all year.
Can we get a yay or nay from some people here on a meet up for August 1/2 or 8/9 ? If you have the free time on one of those weekends then we can try to find a trail that will be close enough for everyone to make it.
It’s intentionally locked out until you are in drive so you don’t go all the way from park to sport accidentally. The theory behind this is to keep complaints of the shifter always ending up in sport mode. Once you are in drive release the button then press it again and sport will be available.
Why did I wait so long to do this.. it’s SO much faster. Huge thanks to @CyanLabs for making this the easiest update I’ve ever done in a vehicle. Really impressed!!
From what I’ve seen and know is you cannot change which fan speeds are used for auto image control. I understand what you want because our volvo lets you choose any fan speed in auto mode which is nice. However, the downside to this is choosing a lower fan speed in auto will take longer to...
Really want someone else to look into a 2020 and see if they get NA signage. If so we could ask the dealer to update our IPC and then we could also get the NA signs. Interesting that Ford is preparing for a future feature release with this change.. maybe? Why else would they update it.
Haven’t had any issues with my truck. Going on 20k now.
Honesty, all things manufactured can and will have issues. Have you tried to pursue the lemon law? I sounds like they have fixed most of your complaints so it wouldn’t be a valid use of the law unless they cannot fix a certain issue after...
I have 20k on my truck and it’s been in that spot since day one. It’s just how the drive system is meant to be aligned. I wouldn’t consider it any point of concern. Hope that helps!
Okay, Is anyone going to be in the collegiate peaks this weekend? I’ll be out in the area to do some wheeling and camping.
As for a multi group meet up it’s looking split for the first and second weekend of August.
@Ranger305 will be coming up from Florida the first week of August around the...
Can we try to get a few people out for a trail ride first or second weekend in August? Thinking Mt.Antero would support all levels of mods probably including stock FX4.
Any suggestions or ideas?
Oh you’re right.. We could argue about what to classify the color Saber as. Some call it orange... I think it’s closer to a sunburst metallic akin to the great “red” spot found on Jupiter. Both the use of red and orange are open for argument.
Not much in the way of any real information on the truck from the OP. Just a bunch of arguing about “life experience” with the apparently indefectible Japanese auto makers. If anyone had that much hate for American automakers I find it very troll like to insist they bought one just to hate on...
If I didn’t hit the trails as much as I do I’d say go for something more road mannered. They are absolutely worth it for off roading but they have the typical M/T issues although the noise is not really a complaint compared to the Nitto Ridge Grapplers I had before.
Getting a perfect balance is...
It’s held on with the two ratchets that are bolted to my roof rack. So all I do is loosen those, push the kayak forward, and then ratchet it back down to hold it in place.
Here’s the truck fully loaded and then set up. Instead of taking the kayak off to setup camp I just slide it forward. Looks silly but it’s much easier.
