Tray comes out easily. Start at the back. Seems you should put it back in front first but I never got mine to sit back on perfectly. Can’t tell though on my install.

Somewhere between 90 and 100 mine stops shutting off.

I think the hood is a little firm. But I don’t have to slam mine. I can set it down and push to get it to latch. A fairly firm push but nothing obnoxious.

I still get that message after the update too. Not sure if I want to deal with a master reset to fix it.
