Ham. I don’t think I’ve ever seen GMRS on a trail run. Most people have just CB. Trail leaders usually have HAM and CB. You generally see that on larger gatherings.
Installed mine right to the battery. Might move the negative to the chassis after reading this.
I don’t have radio problems. But I seem to have a weak battery as the auto start stop is usually inactive due to vehicle charging. Not sure if this will affect it.

No. But you can use your phone or Apple Watch to open it. I would guess using the shortcuts app you might be able to set up Siri to open it but that’s a function I have never tried.
Mine took a little force to get off. I didn’t have to gorilla it though.
But putting he new ones in, I ended up using my impact driver. I rethreaded them 3 times each of make sure I wasn’t crossthreading them. Impact driver put them right in.
once you have HomeKit working, it will pop up on carplay automatically. Then you just press the button on the screen and voila, opens the door. It did take a couple days for it to filter through everything and start showing up on my screen. There is no way to go into settings and set it up. I...
Hmm. Bashing one of the arguable best transmissions ever made. Who cares how many gears it has when you rarely feel it shift.
BTW. Was getting on the freeway the other day. Decided to get on it. Broke loose going from 2nd to 3rd. Fun truck.
