This is opinion only but I prefer the steel knuckle, while aluminum is lighter it will snap in accident where a the steel (should) bend and not snap. Again just my opinion. However on the flipside of that there are more options on control arms for the aluminum knuckles. So I guess it's a toss up.
I do not believe they do as the taper is different between the two. You have two options. Replace the knuckle so they match or remove it and have the ball joint taper machined to match the other. Personally I'd buy a used knuckle from a salvage yard and swap it to match.
Parts came quick, just not as described gonna send them back and look for another set. They were supposed to be 1.5" tire coverage these are closer to 4" stick out way past my tires.
27 models also come with the new nanny that will shut the vehicle down if IT thinks you might be impaired. Why we bought the 26, I'll never own one that has that crap on it. This is definitely my last new one. Lost all interest in the raptor after purchasing this.
As luck would have it, this one is all wheel drive. Still drives great! Just not impressed with the new Google garbage infotainment system. Lost a lot of voice features. Now have to pull over to select music on usb. Really disgusted with it to tell the truth.
Have you checked out the pure 600 turbo, I've seen it mentioned in another thread. A member said he ordered 1 but never posted back. I've checked them out and been searching for reviews, those are hard to find the ones I did find were on foreign cars but the reviews were positive. I'm...
Your experience mirrors mine from years ago. Sad thing they are one of the few that can tune the 26 explorer st we just got. Think I'll wait longer for the Ford tune.
Wife's new SUV. I talked my wife into getting this as it has the same powertrain as the Ranger Raptor and I honestly couldn't justify the raptor for myself. So this was the compromise. I really like it except for the infotainment system sync 3 in my other fords was manageable. But I'm not...
Yup size matters. 285/70/17
But honestly those tires look good I had to go through a lot to make these fit. Looking back not sure it was worth it. Between the 3" lift and 10 ply tires,I can go anywhere I want as long as I drag a gas station with me. 15 city and 17.5 hwy avg.
So it was costly.
Install a femco valve and a drain with a hose. No need to pull skid plate easy peasy. Others use I think it's valvomax, I used femco on all of my vehicles.
Well good thing I keep enough on hand to change the oil in all 4 vehicles atleast twice if not 3 times. So with auto delivery from Amazon I'm not going to worry about it. If it gets real bad you could always carry a couple of jugs and a 15mm down to the dealership after hours and drain a...
I have used that harness in my Ranger and my Mustang, never had a problem. I flattened the eq curve with forescan and incorporated audio dynamics dsp's in both. Running jl audio 75w/ch amps. Alpine subs and amps. Jl audio c1 speakers in the Ranger and morel's in the mustang. I have no echo's or...
That's what I thought. As I have the row springs and no vibrations since the Tom Woods shaft. All I had with the stock shaft was a launch shudder that went away @5mph
Bummer, how much lift do you have?
Mine is 2.5" in the front and 1" in the rear. I haven't had vibrations since installed. I Wonder if the ROW springs have any impact on this?
I'd call shawn and ask him what he thinks. There was one member that got a shaft out of balance but they took care of it. I wouldn't be in such a hurry to send it back.
