  1. Blizzard-Ice Storm January 23-26, 2026

We used to have Global warming, but in recent years, they went to Climate Change to cover all the bases.
  2. Blizzard-Ice Storm January 23-26, 2026

I worked a job once, and at 6 in the morning, I got into an accident. My fault. From end stoved in, leaking radiator, but I limped in home about a mile. Called boss, didn't even ask me if I was OK. Just came right over to pick me up for work.
  3. Do you hang anything from your RVM?

I am tall, so my line of sight is high, so anything hanging just blocks me more. before I got an auto dimming mirror, I would move them up as high as I could so I could see. Some of the cars I see with so much crap hanging from the RVM, leaves me shaking my head. Once in a blue moon, I'd see...
  4. Going to be doing a spray in bed liner - do I remove the bed rail caps?

My installer used some sort of plug for all bolt holes. I didn't see, but asked. I imagine in a DIY situation, something could easily be used/substituted. Thinking maybe those push in fender "bolts" used on front fender wells.
  5. Going to be doing a spray in bed liner - do I remove the bed rail caps?

That's also what my spray liner installer did.
  6. 5 Hidden Ford Settings That Save Your 10-Speed (Before the $9,000 Bill)

What I don't like is having to push buttons everytime I drive. ASS was disabled for so long due to battery gremlins, I'm out of practice for that, not that I remembered more than 50% anyway. Now a tow button to push. If I knew someone around here with Forscan, I'd pay them a visit. Or does...
  7. 5 Hidden Ford Settings That Save Your 10-Speed (Before the $9,000 Bill)

Thanks, for those like me who are uniformed, what are low soc warnings and load shedding? And where is this sensor plug?
  8. 5 Hidden Ford Settings That Save Your 10-Speed (Before the $9,000 Bill)

Disable Auto Start Stop (A transmission Killer) - in Forscan, or pull the BMS Sensor plug. Stable fluid pressure is key. Does pulling the BMS Sensor plug affect anything else? Where is sensor plug?
  9. Ford Ranger Years to AVOID — and the Years That Last Forever

I watched the 2019 review, so glad my 2019 only had the transmission issue. And it really didn't have severe issues, just the one time when cold (under 35ish degrees) going up a hill, under slight acceleration, it would fall on it's face. After that one faulter, it shifted smoothly. All new...
  10. 🚙EJS 2026 | 3W Trail Driver Giveaway🎁

@3Wliners liners is rolling into the scene. Name recognition is on the rise. Last 4x4 event I went to was in Indianapolis IN back in the 80's. Mud, frame torture test etc. Envious of those that are near these big events.
  11. Windshield chips/cracks

I just had my windshield replaced, and had to ask for OEM which had the sound film and Ranger decal on it. No issue from insurance. Safelite did the work. If I didn't ask Safelite, they would have put in an aftermarket.
  12. OEM Rearview Mirror Attachment...

While I enjoy seeing the mods of others, and all the issues that come with them, I'm glad I'm an "old man" and don't have the need for them. I remember working for a dealer in the 80's, and doing electrical work in the same manner you described your mirror experience. Don't miss that...
  13. ✅ Talk and Win a giftcard ✅Where does the mess actually start?

LOL, my wife's daughter was a dancer from 3 to 18. She was good, practiced all the time. She used some sort of white powder/cream on her feet. She would also put her bare feet on the grey dash, leaving white smudges that were very difficult to clean. Not my car, so I didn't clean, but feet never...
  14. ✅ Talk and Win a giftcard ✅Where does the mess actually start?

In the winter, it's the floor mats that crud up with salt/sand. As horrible as it looks, it doesn't get cleaned as often due to the weather. Then it's the dash dust, but a swipe with a damp towel cleans that up, and I'm all over that, as it's "in your face". Then comes the shifter/console area...
  15. Review: 3W Liners Waterproof Rear Seat Pet Protector

I'm not sure how other "top of the line" companies started, but it seems like @3Wliners is going about this right. The floor mats I won are not a copy of any liner I've seen, they appear to have developed themselves. I am very happy with the construction, fit, although durability/longevity will...
  16. Door sill protection

That's a nice look. I just used some 3M protectant clear tape. Works well also.
  17. [Upcoming] Wolfbox Power Running Boards! Reviewers Wanted

If you ( @Wolfbox ) are looking for testers of the running boards for a Ranger, I'm your huckleberry. Living in Vermont, they would be exposed to road salt, ice and snow in the winter, mud in the springtime, dirt and gravel in the summer and fall. They would also be exposed to passengers who...
  18. I feel like I am taking crazy pills about husky liners

Whatever you decide, it'll be better than vacuuming/scrubbing/washing carpeting.
  19. I feel like I am taking crazy pills about husky liners

    Aren't the floors the same?
