Can still barely see the mark it left from elementary school in the laten 60's.
  2. New to me 2019 ranger lariat. General questions after owning for 3 months.

I own a 2019 Lariat, 17", never had rubbing on mudflaps. Same for the brief time I ran 18". I do have a level kit on, just for looks. Mudflaps will NOT keep snow from accumulating on running boards, or keep sides clean. They help, but don't expect miracles. My running boards have been painted...
  3. USA beats Canada in OT to win first hockey gold since 1980 'Miracle on Ice'

While I am thrilled the USA won, what a game of talent, skills, endurance. It could have gone either way, and I still would have enjoyed as much.
  4. Ford CEO admits 'the customer has spoken' amid company's worst performance slip since 2008 financial crisis: 'It's a big miss'

I stopped donating to corporations etc. I fill the boot when firefighters need it, food banks etc. All volunteer, no salaries to be paid.
  5. Ford CEO admits 'the customer has spoken' amid company's worst performance slip since 2008 financial crisis: 'It's a big miss'

I've found that to be true, but if people don't donate, then what? Not sure if hospitals draw blood for their own use. Way back when, you could donate blood for yourself, kinda like a true blood bank.
  6. Ford CEO admits 'the customer has spoken' amid company's worst performance slip since 2008 financial crisis: 'It's a big miss'

I only bough the Screw because my wife insisted we have a 4 door in case we carry people. Everyone drives there own cars, mostly, around here. In 6 years, maybe 6 times I've had people in back seat. My vehicle before was also for "her" convenience. next one won't be a fight. I'll just go out and...

I believe AMC bought out Harley Davidson in the 70's? as well. Turned the product into crap, by Harley riders standards, then Harley bought back. But, they may have not survived if AMC didn't help them out at the time.

  11. Guess they never learn.

Sounds like we both did solar the same way. Hopefully you had net metering.
  12. Guess they never learn.

I pondered if all the EV haters ever did any research into battery life. All I read is that they have a 10 year, or 100k warranty on them. So, when the car hits those milestones, you have to replace the battery at a huge cost. Do they talk that way about ICE cars with a 60k warranty? Much like...
  13. How To Upgrade Factory Puddle Lights

One of mine flickered, so I bought the same ones. Only changed the flickerer.
  14. Darwin Award Thread

Eat a tablespoon of cinnamon in one "swipe'. Can't be done.
  15. Darwin Award Thread

Love seeing the vids, when I was teaching, the stunts that the kids did, high schoolers, were hilarious. I remember my students asking for cinnamon for the 1 tablespoon cinnamon challenge. Only 2 did it, the rest learned. I know I did some dumb stuff, but not Darwin worthy, and I grew out of it.
  16. Back up camera issues- not recalled

I had my camera replaced under warranty on my 2019. Don't recall them saying it was a recall. Same symptoms as you are experiencing.
  17. Had my seats redone with red accents 2020 Ford ranger lariat

Those seats look like mine at 59k. I know nothing about leather, but right now, it doesn't look right, maybe they'll straighten out. Like the color though.
  18. Stellantis Stock Collapses As Jeep Maker Takes $26 Billion Hit In Latest EV Pivot

There are other countries that rely on renewables more than the US. Spain come to mind. Does Australia subsidize in any way? I'm not sure how other countries do it, socialism comes to mind. There are other ways as well i'd imagine.
  19. Stellantis Stock Collapses As Jeep Maker Takes $26 Billion Hit In Latest EV Pivot

And the windmills I like watching over on the next ridge, some turn, some don't, no rhyme or reason.
