Last November I was ready to order a '22 Lariat Crew Cab, because Ford has screwed up the Bronco release so bad I was thinking of canceling my reservation. The 5g Ranger has proven it's reliability, and I figured I couldn't go wrong. But, then I started thinking (which is dangerous, you can ask...
OK, I'm gonna use this in the future. This could be one of the best new analogies I've heard in a long time, so Imma gonna wear it out.:clap:
:turkey::turkey::turkey::turkey::turkey::turkey:You get 6 @Tracy Bowman dancing turkeys.
I know you're a bit new here Mark, so I'll explain. A Tracy...
With the way things are going with our economy a price increase wasn't unexpected. And, as far as I can tell things ain't gonna get any better soon. Damnit............
As it has been alluded too, never ever buy a 3rd party warranty. They are too expensive, and too danged hard to negotiate the exceptions. Plus, your dealer service dept doesn't want to take the time to call the support number and be put on hold just to be dicked around when someone does answer...
I was a long time member of our towns Historic Society, and charged with keeping this old " '29 Huckster" in running condition. It was an all day job to drive, but damn it was fun. If I could fine one I would probably have it in the garage now. :)
This was taken with my previous '11 XLT
Umm, I like the green, and the tan. But, from we've seen from Ford they don't seem to break from tradition. White, black, silver, some grays, along with a blue and a red. Then they're done.
I haven't had a chance to look at a Frontier on the lots. Like everything else they just aren't there, as they sell when they hit the ground. But, the ones I've seen on the road are quite good lookin'. Not that I would want one, but they do look nice.
I happy to hear you are enjoing that JL my friend. And you're right, the engine and tranny work great together in the Jeeps.
And if you get a chance could you give me the link to those pre runner lights. Those would look quite spiffy on mine also.
Ummm, that looks a bit familiar too me brother. Enjoy
'19 3.6L 8spd. I will say this. The 3.6 isn't a barn burner in any way. But it, with Jeep's 8 speed work better together than any Ford set up I have in the driveway. 22K miles on mine, and has only been in for oil changes (knock wood) :)
I had a 2004 Lightning in Dark Shadow Gray. Man I loved that truck. It would pass everything, but a gas station. And yes, I do miss it from time to time. :)
Anything but chains brother. Have you ever seen what a chain can do to a fender if it comes loose. I have, and trust me it ain't pretty. Like some have said, look for a better solution than chains. IMHO
