  1. Good job Bronco Plant. ?

You're right bud. I can only guess QA was asleep when that one came through. They certainly don't have the same caliber of QA dept. I had in my second job. Those folks were dead on the job 100% of the time. They didn't let nothing by them. We had an idiot stop his machine, and wrap a note in...
  2. Is there any disadvantage to a SuperCab?

Oh good Lord, there's something else to look out for. I damn near knocked myself out jumping into my Jeep, and hitting my big ol' dumb head on the roll bar. That thing there looks like it will draw blood. :)
  3. Good job Bronco Plant. ?

I guess to be fair, the Line Tech just puts the parts on as they are delivered to them. They have less than a minute to get the job done before the next Bronco comes down the line. So just grabbing, and installing doesn't give them much time to see the difference in the tail lights. Same for all...
  4. Quick Car Washes …

^^^^^^ This right here. Like brother Dave I'm picky on what type wax goes on my paint. So, stick to the cheap one. The problem I have is all of the fancy smancy car washes in my area have those dang dig old straps of God knows what hanging down, and beating the paint. I don't like those.
  5. Good job Bronco Plant. ?

Dayum, the hits just keep on comin'. It reminds me of the old Johnny Cash song.
  6. How the Bronco Raptor Stacks Up Against to the Wrangler 392

I thinks it's kind of cute that Ford is calling it a '22 when my one time '22 is now possibly a '24. But, who am I to question Mother Ford? :)
  7. Wear from start and stops

IIRC they say (but I don't know who "they " is) you run the chance of more condensation in the engine by just staring it for a few minutes every now, and then. But, truthfully I haven't seen that in real time. I have an old Camaro that rarely gets out, and about. I start it every 2 weeks in the...
  8. Forum Flaming

    Scary.....ain't it Mike? :)
  9. SuperCab Love

Pat, that's the way they cover the rear bulkhead from the factory. I will say that it probably needs to have a little soundproofing behind it as it is a bit louder without the seats I suspect. Nothing terrible to the point that I'll do anything about it though. Several like Ateve @Grumpaw have...
  10. My keys were eaten!!

I had to laugh my friend. I thought stupid chit like that only happened to me. :)
  11. Mudflappers

WeatherTech no drill is what I used, and they are just fine. Those Ford ones have to be Platinum lined. :)
  12. Detailed my interior today.

Looks good brother Dave. The interior is about all I can clean sometimes in the winters we have. It rains some like every three days. :) BTW, I see you have Husky Liners. I bought a set of their Weatherbeaters, and they suck. Husky changed the snaps on the driver side of the mats, and no matter...
  13. CanShift Paddle Shifters

You have to remember, our old friend RP is in Canada. Maybe they use the metric system on their clocks also. :bandit:
  14. Keyless entry doesn't sense my hand on the door handle

As suggested, check the battery in the FOB before you go any further. I had to buy a FOB battery for my '13 F-150 a month after I got the truck. There's no way of knowing how long those batteries sit before they are used.
  15. Oval emblem upgrade

I had the emblem overlays on my previous F-150, and they were still good 6 years later when I traded. I'm guessing there are different grades of vinyl though, so if you go this way I suggest you check before you buy.
  16. Auto Lock

With enough money anything is possible Andrew. My GM plastic car has it, and it is quite convenient. However there is a whole nuther set of little transmitters, and antennas stuffed between the rear bumper, and frame to run them. So, there is that. I haven't seen any aftermarket companies that...
  17. Locking Differential- Option Gone

This is my SWAG. Ford dropped it as a stand alone so folks that needed it would have to spend more money on the FX4 package. And Warren is the proof. Living the fiasco Ford calls Bronco I've seen that the company couldn't care less about their end customers. Note: I'll take my tin foil hat off...
  18. 16" wheels vs 18" wheels for ride on mostly pavement

Thanks for the picture Wade. Those wheels look much better on the Ranger than they do on the Bronco. If I ever get my Bronco I know where the OEM wheels/Tires will go. I think your Ranger looks good.
  19. 3% Under Invoice - 2022 Ford Ranger Order

I understand. I ordered my Super Cab 09/01/20, and it took three months then. Looks like 4 months is the going time now.
