Yea not at all worried about that. I can always peel the plasti dip off the piece of trim that got scratched and re-apply. At under ten bucks a can and a few hours work I am just fine with that.

I use the dipyourcar.com post dip spray which helps with both the UV protection as well as it not feeling so rubbery over time.

I can confirm after initially telling everyone NOT to plasti-dip the sensors when plasti-dipping bumpers/valence but having now tested it they can be painted no problem and sensors continue to work exactly the same.

Installed this mat in my XLT months ago and it’s holding up extremely well! Soft enough to through my golf bag on it and rugged enough for carpentry/landscaping projects or dump runs. Super easy install and highly recommend for those not wanting a full bed-lining.
