Towing my 7X16 foot cargo trailer I averaged 15.7 mpg over 892 miles. used a mix on 87 and 93 gas. trailer was empty with a weight of 2320 pounds. Both US highways and Interstates. Kept the speed down to about 60-65 mph. The trailer has a lot of frontal area.
Just picked up my trailer today. Got the brake controller adjusted. Start home (Georgia to Dallas) tomorrow morning. Trailer tows well. It is empty, so only about 2300 pounds.
I made a templet out of cardboard to get the shape, then cut it on a bandsaw. Just construction 2X6 material painted black.
By the way, I am picking the trailer up today and just installed the mirrors "for real" this morning. NO problem.
Today I was driving on a major US highway (non interstate). It was in a hilly area. Speed control was set at the speed limit of 65 MPH. Transmission in normal "D" position. No trailer so not in trailer mode.

I just arrived in Georgia from Dallas, TX.
2-wheel drive XL supercab. Had 689 miles on it when I left home.
Trip was 889 miles. 50% interstate, 40% main US highways, 10% smaller roads.
Used speed control extensively.
Ranger display indicated 27.9 MPG.
Tonight I added up the gas I purchased, and...

gears, which slows your vehicle and
assists you in controlling your vehicle
when descending a slope.
• Depending on...
Re: The XL trim model has 16" wheels/rims and other trim models might have 2 extra inches, in height, due to different rims/wheels.
I believe that ALL have the same outside diameter. The larger wheels have lower profile tires.
Those of us with SYNC (not SYNC-3) can NOT connect Android Auto. So I am thinking that, just maybe, those of us with SYNC do not have that sound issue. Any thoughts in this?
