For reference, the front passenger door won't open due to the bent frame, though the vehicle was still driveable and my brother drove it to the body shop.
I'm worried about our insurance rates once the insurance companies realize a 25mph crash results in a totaled vehicle. I've known lots of...
My brother bought his first brand new truck two weeks ago. It still has the temp sticker in the window waiting for the license plates to arrive.
Last week his wife didn't see a car traveling down a 25mph road and pulled in front of it, hitting the drivers side front quarter panel.
The bids are...
I ordered a part for my Ranger and noticed the manufacturer install instructions had a torque spec that didn't seem right. Sent a message to Jason@Stage3 and he contacted the manufacturer and got the correct torque specs from their engineer the same day. I then checked the manufacturer website...
I'm sure grateful to live in a part of the country where I've never had a salesperson accompany me on a test drive and I've never even thought about the idea of a locking gas cap.
As to the reviewers, most of them are east coast media types that couldn't hook up a fifth wheel and tow it to a...
It was -2F here this morning. Some of you guys gave me a "cup half full" outlook though. Coldest I've ever seen was -36F and you guys deal with that regularly?
TIME TO MOVE!!!
Go check out the video that ICON posted on their Instagram page of their off-road shock package compared to stock... it's pretty impressive. I did the Ford Performance shock upgrade and it's fantastic. That might help stabilize you to where you're more comfortable.
PS. The rear end will...
It's official! The best riding off-road vehicle I've ever been in is a Ranger with the Ford shocks! Can't recommend them enough! The truck just flies over dirt roads, I kept bracing for impacts and then would realize I was already past them... that capability with the Trail Control technology is...
@Pathung, I had the dealer install it to maintain warranty. They charged $400 including alignment so I felt like the actual install was about $300, which was worth it to me.
I bought the Ford kit from the dealer as he gave me a discounted price. It appears the Fox kit has identical components...
No aftermarket parts other than rear blocks (obviously won't affect front alignment) and the Ford Performance shocks. According to the printout, it aligned to spec.
I kind of mentioned it in a previous post and showed the measurements, but it was almost perfectly level but it still had a sensation of being nose high when driving. I'm sure it was exacerbated by the topper adding weight on the rear. Plus I prefer to still have a slight rake, just my...
Love the new height with the Eibach rear blocks!

After more time behind the wheel, I can't recommend the Ford Performance shocks enough. MASSIVE DIFFERENCE IN HANDLING!
