Then buy Ford's accessory brake controller and have the dealership install it. Factory-installed vs. dealer-installed isn't that big of a difference. I have a Super Duty so if I need to tow heavy, I'll just take that truck. No need for a brake controller on my truck and I'm guessing many other...
I stopped by a tire shop today to look at some tires for a '77 F-150 and asked the guy about Dynapro's. He said the only tire he hates worse is Falken. Not a great review :crying:
Duratrac or KO2s might be in my future
Sorry, I wasn't trying to add more work. I was just commenting generally it would be interesting to know what their house/torque numbers were at a preset RPM. For instance, if the Ranger can reach 270hp at 5200, what would the Toyota be at the same RPM.
I've never liked high RPM numbers for...

Winner: Ranger (18 points; Tacoma 14 — all scores out of 20)...
I'd love to see what the Toyota has for HP at 5,200 RPM and Torque at 4,000 RPM. That way we'd be comparing closer to real-world applications. In trucks especially, the lower-end stuff is more important than the high RPM numbers.
They claim they have this one at their dealership...

EDIT: I think this truck is mislabeled. Some of their Rangers have early blend dates of 12/11, but this...
I chatted with a rep on Hankook's website to see if these would be snow rated (3PMSF). He said they were so new that he didn't even have specs on them. My guess would be they'll have the rating.
Now the question is whether I should upgrade to bigger T/A KO2s. I guess we'll see how everybody's...
I've had the plastic ones on my last two Super Duty's, including the one in my garage, and it's 4 degrees outside right now, definitely not tropical here (see my avatar). Never had one crack yet. Built Ford Tough :like:
In perusing their website (https://www.hankooktire.com/us/passenger-cars/hankook-dynapro-at-m-rf10.html) it looks like they make a LT265/70R17 but I don't see a LT 265/65R17 as the Ford website states we'll be receiving.
The 265/65R17 has a diameter of 30.6". The LT265/70R17 is listed at 31.7"...
It looks like X-Plan is about $2,000 less than MSRP also. (https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/x-plan-pricing-and-build-configurator-now-live.1408/)
One of the other reviewers mentions 300hp with higher octane as well. I watched a bunch so I don't recall which one it was. I'm guessing it was mentioned in the intro before the drive event.
Like gkendrick above, I was just playing on TireRack and searching for LT-rated tires that come in 265/65R17 and also have OWL...
