The last update I had was 12/17 with ETA of 1/7/19. I think sometimes those are build weeks though so I didn't know what day it would be. Thanks for that.
Just leave the fob in the truck and push 7-8 & 9-0 simultaneously and it will lock the doors and disable the Smart Key (so pulling on the handle won't open the door). Enter your 5-digit code and the doors unlock and you only have to push Start to turn on the truck. Extremely handy.
Locking the fob in the vehicle while on the trail or the water is a huge issue for many of us. Maybe not in big cities, but in the intermountain west we do it all the time.
That way your stuff is locked up but you don't have keys jingling in your pocket while hiking, hunting, jogging, fishing...
Thanks for the update on keyless. My dealer said the same thing so I removed it from my order. That's a weird thing for them to even option on the Lariat, not to mention have a delay for it.
I've got no idea why my tracking doesn't work. I stopped by the dealer today and got this picture of the print-out.
My order was placed 8/14 and now has a build date of 12/17 with an expected ETA of 1/7.
It says, "We are unable to find the VIN you entered. Either the VIN is invalid or no information is available. Please check with your dealer for status on your vehicle."
It says the same thing for about 3 different vin's we tried.
I have my VIN. Order was placed 8/14 and last digits are 01652 so I appear to be early in the queue.
I can't get the VIN to pull up on the website so we tried other VIN's as well and none of them are working. Is the website working for you guys that have pulled them in the past? Or am I just...
I just called the dealer with your question. The printed date is a "build week" of 12/24, not a "build date". Maybe it'll be right after Christmas when everybody is refreshed and ready to build a high-quality piece of art!
Correct. It is a stock order and not a retail order... which means I...
It appeared to me from one of the videos that the DynaPro ATM will be the tire on FX4. Any experience with those? I've heard they're a snowflake rated tire, but haven't heard much else.
I added the LT 17" to my order. I hope they're the KO2s, I have them on my F350 and love them.
