In my area this week I’m seeing for the first time that I can ever remember regular fuel higher than Diesel at most stations.
It also appears that Shell is leading the price hike but is keeping diesel prices higher than regular but pretty much even with premium fuel.
Regular is $3.45 and diesel...
WTF!
Still got a damn leak, same spot they supposedly fix last time.
SOB.
Edit. I complained online and their regional manager called me today to tell me they will put a new tire on for my troubles.
Follow up on the above.
TD told me there was no leak.
I was still loosing air at about a 1 psi a day. I took the wheel off and inspected again at that tear mentioned above. A very small leak detected using some soap. So I took a very small screwdriver and poked around and it slipped in the hole...
I just bought a Z series A.R.E.. I inspected the interior and all the seams looked good, very neatly overlapped. Perhaps a drug test caught up with your builder?
We had a heavy rain yesterday and the bottom lip to the topper was damp around the cab window. The seal looked ok, possibly a poor...
Got my A.R.E. Series Z topper. Only option was the tilt cab window for easy cleaning. Roughly $3500.
The rear window is a little stubborn to latch. Fit is not exactly perfect but the finish and color match is dead on. I did have to glue down the weather strip on the rear window.
The truck is...
That’s about what I’m spending for Z2 series A.R.E., which should be here next week. I was expecting to spend close to $5k but I didn’t want many options and was pleased with the local dealer ordering process. Their site is good for estimates.
What I’m not pleased with is trying to communicate...
I run 87 quite often especially when prices are around $4 a gallon. Usually 4 87 tanks to one 93.
I also run a tune and notice no difference in performance IF I stick with BP or Shell. Kroger’s 87 burns like crap. I’ve also noticed no pinging.
That’s it, you really don’t know if you’re draining good oil out or burned oil with failing properties and contaminates unless you’re testing it.
You know the environment you’re driving in makes a difference too. If you’re driving up and down the southern coast full of salty air and sand your vehicle will be breathing that. Without cameras down your plug holes or an oil analysis you’ll never know.
It’s been 3years and I checked again yesterday and still no updates. Occasionally I’ll have a glitch but no big deal to give it a two finger salute.
Read a few comments of anyone doing an actual oil analysis test and no one mentioned removing their turbo filters to check for buildup.
I’m skeptical but no doubt 5K oil changes help make an engine last. I’ve personally seen that on my former 97 3.0v6 Ranger that I did 5K synthetic oil changes...
