Went outside, looked at it, and tried to visualize the wheels and tires I'm thinking of buying for it that I absolutely don't need because the wheels are fine and the tires only have 1,500 miles on them. Oh yeah, and thought about the tune I don't need either.
It's too bad @ChopprJock you can't put those wheels and tires on your F150, that would be a**-kickin'. But hey, if you see a good deal and something better for you that checks all the boxes, why not jump on it if/when the opportunity arises?
Not interested in a 6G. As was mentioned no supercab, I don't likes the looks of it . . . at all, prices have gone nuts since I ordered mine in early March of '21, and mine is paid off long already. Not even slightly interested in truck payments, either.
I'm in Pa as well and use a product called Undercoating in a Can. It's a clear, petroleum-based rust preventative fluid that I spray under the truck each October. I hardly drive it because I have a company truck, but I know it can't hurt anyway.
Been watching this thread to get some good info. I'm on the fence about getting a tune, so I reached out to Torrie last night after 9:00 and he got back to me in 20 minutes! On a Sunday. Wasn't expecting that, sometime on Monday or Tuesday would've been fine. All I want is the truck to have a...
Gotta agree with @NotBudule, I would like to see a supercab version. I just simply think they look nicer. But h*ll, I only have 3,000 miles on my '21 supercab and highly doubt I would buy the Raptor anyway. So I guess I should just keep my yap shut. . . . . Too late.
Nothing. Nothing I ever bought for my Ranger or my Mustang (sunk considerable coin on it) ever made her mad. We share our checking account and talk about our purchases first, if it's a good chunk of money. I don't ever have to beg or ask permission to buy something. I'm quite sure I've earned...
When the flu, getting older, or like this covid comes around, we all (at least sometimes) like to think we are practically invincible. " I won't get it". "I can handle that". "I can still lift that, move like that". Then reality comes around like a kick to the balls, putting times like these...
I know this is a stretch, but IF you remove the tires, and the wheels are in as good a shape as what you stated, I MIGHT be interested in making an offer for the wheels. I replaced my Bridgestones at under 200 miles and sold them the same day they came off, so I have no interest in them.
I've been looking around to get the magnetic grey wheels on the forum if they could be close enough to me. I have the same color truck and same style wheels like your old ones and agree the magnetic grey wheels would look better.
Recently installed 3" Ionic nerf bars and a swing case that I got on Amazon at $30.00 off because it was a return. Nothing wrong with it all, nothing missing. (More stickers coming).
Teach us, teach us oh wise one from your years of gaining knowledge and wisdom. (And for putting up with BS for more years than many of us). Teach us the ways to become "one" with the truck and guide us down a path of wisdom to spend the right amount of money on the right parts that we "need"...
Used mine as my own personal job site buggy in a development that is in the site work stage. To the right is something called a Ramex. It is used to compact stone or soil in trenches and other areas. Remote controlled.
Nice looking truck. You picked the best color. (In my opinion anyway, but I'm a little biased as I have the same color). Your wallet can easily become a lot lighter if you listen to some of these guys and see pics of what they've done to theirs. I'm guilty of this as well.
Mine was a '72 Maverick Grabber. It had a 302 w/automatic trans, two little "scoops" on the hood and the smaller chrome bumpers before the big ugly bumpers a year or so later. That thing had some get up and go, but was terrible in the snow. I had to load the sh*t out of the trunk with my ice...
