Drove to the NAS Wildwood (Naval Air Station Wildwood), that has an air museum. They trained Navy pilots on this base during WordWar II. The Coast Guard Training Center is only a few miles away. Lots more photos in the Pic Whore Club thread.
Tail end of an F-14 Tomcat.
Ford Model A with rumble...
You're welcome guys. Lots of neat stuff there. They change aircraft every so often. Most of them are loaned to the museum. I've been there several times.
More pics guys, . . . . . . .
Bell Cobra AH-1F. Older model before they made them with four blades.
The iconic UH-IF "Huey". Also made by Bell Helicopter.
This is a Dodge Power Wagon used to keep an eye on German prisoners that were caught and brought to Cape May.
Went to the Naval Air Station Wildwood Museum (NAS Wildwood) which is actually located in North Cape May, to look at several different types of aircraft, which they also had a craft show going on. WARNING: pic heavy.
This aircraft above was reportedly one of the (bad guy) aircraft in the first...
Throwing this out there objectively, isn't the stock intake 90 degree bends? So if it worked for them (Ford) wouldn't an increased volume of air in somewhat that same configuration be an improvement?
It sure is. Those people like to party. Crazy women, enough alcohol to tidal wave a small city and the sounds of gunfire and racing engines. You know, the usual stuff.
Anyone gonna be in Wildwood between June 20th (later today) through Sunday June 25th? If you are, maybe meet up and have a few beers, talk about truck stuff, women, trucks and women? Just throwing it out there.
From what radio stations I listened to so far, it seemed to be as good as the stock antenna. I needed it to clear the garage better after lifting the front by 1.5".
