  1. 2022 Nissan Frontier

I've only read good things about it. Everyone comments on how smooth it operates and how quiet the cab is. On paper, it will only be a few years until all the other trucks beat it and many do even now. Regardless, I will definitely be test driving an SV 4x4 and/or Pro-4x. Hopefully dealerships...
  2. TSB 20-2277 2019-2020 Ranger - Shudder/Vibration When Accelerating From A Stop

What gear are you in when that happens? At 30mph, 6th gear is the maximum safe bet. My truck would try to go into 8th gear at 25mph in the city so I lock out 7-10. 7th is good once you get passed 40mph but in the city, I never go beyond 7th. These transmissions lug the engines, just how they are.
  3. Are engine enhancing oil additives a gimmick?

Guys on BITOG like MoS2 and Ceratec but I'd want to know what I was doing before I used any of those. I personally don't use them and don't plan to. This is a good article that kind of explains the friction surfaces of spinning metal parts and why those additives probably don't do shit if you...
  4. Anyone buy the stubby?

I got the shorter one they have. Stubby Jr. Clears my garage door and reception in Atlanta is fine.
  5. New Nissan Z - good potential but one big failure.

I'm a huge fan of the new Z. I mean DAMN. It's a pretty car imo. With the 370z having been out for 27 years now, I'm glad Nissan is picking up the paint brush again.
  6. Vibrations in the seats....

Glad some of y'all found my gif funny. Talladega Nights reference. OP, the only things I've seen on the forum that have been successful are correcting the rear pinion angle with axle shims - FORD TSB 20-2277 - and/or putting shims between the body and driveshaft center bearing when all else...
  7. Vibrations in the seats....

    Every Ranger owners wife..
  8. anyone ever sell to carvana?

Reportedly, they give you an offer, bring a check for that amount, do some paperwork, and you see your car for sale on their site a week later. Seems like a good gig to me.
  9. First Encounter in the "Wild" (Ranger's Spotted Megathread)

@DukeCanBuildit It appears so! I live in the Atlanta area but my Chattanooga buddy grabbed a quick few pics of that one.
  10. Oz tuning issues

NVM, it was ZFG tuning who tuned the 440whp blue ranger..
  11. Oz tuning issues

Do a forum search. I've seen OZ pop up more than once. I think the guy with the blue ranger who went big turbo and made 440whp was tuned by OZ. My only advice is to try to get your money back and go with a different tuner like Unleashed.
  12. First Encounter in the "Wild" (Ranger's Spotted Megathread)

I believe it is ADV fiberglass.
  13. Tuned Trucks + Spark Knock w/ 93 Octane?

Any chance the knocking noise might have been transmission related, not engine related? It seems odd to hear an audible knock that's not picked up by any of the knock sensors. Either way, glad you are on the right track. It's assuring to find a tuner who's already familiar with the platform.
  14. Vibration at take off

I'm thinking this is another common symptom of whatever the problem is. Mine does the same thing.
  15. CARBONIZED GRAY Ranger Club Thread

Haven't posted any pics of my ranger yet. Totally stock ranger having no issues in the Ponce de Leon wilderness.
  16. Driveshaft Phasing

    Sign me up for that.
  17. First Encounter in the "Wild" (Ranger's Spotted Megathread)

A buddy of mine saw this one a few days ago in Chattanooga area.
  18. Maverick 3D Printing Customization

Likewise. I haven't even found a render of a non-raptorized, lifted maverick. I think it'll look badass. Hell, even the Ridgeline looks good with a lift imo.
  19. Maverick 3D Printing Customization

Every time my ego gets me thinking the maverick is too small and "not a real truck", that awesome interior gets me thinking otherwise.
  20. Ranger Raptor paddle shifters on US Ranger?

Not trying to insinuate that I don't think they're cool or that I personally would not want them. If a trans tune make the trans shift better in manual and the paddles work with it, I would be all over getting the paddles. Yet, without an improvement in shifting, the paddles are kinda pointless...
