I have a decked system and used the upper holes next to the cabin on both sides to relocate the factory tie downs located just below them. The decked install has you remove the front factory tie down's to install their brackets; relocating them gives me back my anchor points near the cabin...
2012 Ford Flex SE - Wife's car and when we need to transport lots of people. Seats 7 and at 9 years old still has a few features my ranger doesn't.
2012 Ford Escape - My old daily driver, now the daily driver for my teenager. She couldn't wait long enough for me to get my truck :)

For what purpose? I have the Wolf Haus like pictured above and made 12v marine plug and Anderson Powerpole pigtails for it. Works great for charging My Jackery Battery and a variety of other uses.
I have noticed that my car can sometimes connect to the cell network more reliably than my carry phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max) when I'm in some areas with minimal coverage; not faster, just more consistent. I find the car WiFi is very useful for kids with non-cell devices on longer car rides...
That's on my list of things to get. I'm worried about placement there due to heat exposure and I don't like to advertise the nice things I put in my truck. I may have to ask you later how it works out. What are you using for an antenna?
I didn't actually start the car for any of the testing. It was all with my key out of the ignition, with it at one click (accessory) or with it in the second (ignition) position but not started.
Guess I wasn't too clear on the project that prompted the results of my post.
I added a micro2 tap to fuse position 23, wired to a 12v marine socket and Qualcomm 3.0 quick charge adapter. The wireless charger cable routes along the left side of the center console in the crack (based on input...
So, I wanted to hook-up a wireless charger and 3D printed bracket I got from @DirkM (look here for details) to one of the passenger compartment fuses via a tap. I was looking to hook it up to an accessory fuse. I was not able to find anything that told me what the power availability was for...
I got the U2W Plus version, linked above, on Sunday and it has been working well since. Startup and connection has been very consistent and stable so far.
Kind of resurrecting this thread as I was wondering the same thing. What size of spare can you fit under the vehicle. By size, I'm thinking height more then width. Would it fit something like a 265/65R18 (31.5") tire?
They did kind of bury the TPS display on the XLT console. I kind of wish they had included it as a screen in the vehicle info section; it does stand to reason that if you're off-road and looking at your angles you could also want to know tire pressure.
My latest update is purely aesthetic. The big orange marker lights kind of stand out on a blacked out build, so I decided to replace them with some I got off of ebay that have a smoked outside with orange LED's. Very easy and inexpensive change; about $35 and 5 minutes of work.
I installed a DECKED drawer system
Took about 4 hours to install. Hands down the hardest part was removing the factory tiedowns next to the cab that they sprayed with bed liner.
