  1. Anderson Powerpole in Back Seat

I received a couple of Anderson plug mounts that I had ordered, and changed out what I had previously installed. It now looks like this and works much better. The new mount allows for the use of regular plugs, or for ones retrofitted with a connector that clips to the mount to prevent...
  2. Anderson Powerpole in Back Seat

I do like the SB style connectors also, I have an SB120 wired up to the front of my Ranger to run external loads, like a compressor, inverter, etc. My compressor peaks at 90 amps, so an SB50 wouldn't work there.
  3. Anderson Powerpole in Back Seat

I have that one on order already and will evaluate it when it arrives. I do like the looks of that one and how it protects the connectors. It will probably come down to how well it fits behind the rear console panel. As for the other two you posted, the round one seems a bit overpriced; I had...
  4. Yaesu FTM-200DR Amateur Radio Install

Got a microphone extension cable and installed that today. My microphone now plugs in around the small slotted grill just right of the steering wheel.
  5. Anderson Powerpole in Back Seat

I connected a switched independent power feed to the back seat console. This allows me to selectively power an Anderson Powerpole connector that I installed in the rear console, replacing one of the USB connectors. I routed the wiring at the same time I wired up my HAM radio. I then...
  6. Yaesu FTM-200DR Amateur Radio Install

Figured I would provide some pictures and other information for anyone looking to install a Yaesu or other radio that has a removable faceplate. The removeable faceplate allows for installation of the radio and the control unit in separate locations. This particular unit comes with a radio...
  7. Stolen tail light thread

I’m tempted to just put a couple tack welds. Would be a pain to take off, but anyone with a welder is also gonna have a grinder :)
  8. Oil quart behind rear seat?

I took some detailed dimensions a while back for my 2021 XLT Supercrew; planning for everything I wanted to store and install. Here is what I came up with. Rough Dimensions for back bench seats. 6" at raised floor from seat to back 4" from seat to back starting at ~4.5" from raised floor 3"...
  9. Tire recommendations

I had a screw in almost the same location on my passenger front stock Hankook. Figured I'd just try patching it myself with a decent quality plug kit; I've been running on the plug for ~5k miles now with no pressure loss. I was told it was "too close" to the edge to repair.
  10. Tailgating

Psych  I turned the corner, looked in my rearview mirror and had that quick moment of "what the heck" then realized what I had in the back of my truck. Had a good chuckle about it.
  11. Tailgating

  12. Anyone tried these badges?

I went with decals, stuck just under the mirrors. I've got kind of a blacked out thing going, so mine are block on the graphite paint.
  13. Upfitter style switches, but universal?

The closest I've seen to that are the Trigger wireless switches, Steddi or Lighforce. I went with the Auxbeam route.
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Added a Ram mount to the dash tray last week; I didn't like having my phone below the screen as it required me to look away from the road too much. I then added an Auxbeam controller to my setup, yesterday, using the Proclip mount that previously held my phone. Just the controller for now. I...
  15. Interesting space between power ports

I mounted my brake controller just like that and plugged the 12v socket back in, behind the dashboard. I use it to power my wireless charger from @DirkM and a dashcam.
  16. Bed Tie Downs(again but different)

I don't have a direct answer for that, really, but they feel strong. The only ones I trust to be load rated are the ones with factory threaded holes. The E-Tracks I added to the middle I consider to be light duty, but I'm usually tying down camping equipment or lumber, so that's all I need...
  17. Bed Tie Downs(again but different)

I have a decked system on my Ranger. The holes near the top of the bed, next to the cab, are close to the ones the tie-downs will be removed from, but not exact. You will need to elongate the holes in the tie-downs a bit; the 8mm bolts will work in the factory holes. For center tie-downs, I...
  18. What's your key ring look like?

Nope, you just put your existing truck key into it and turn. It breaks off the pins inside or something and sets the key. Pretty sure the Mfg website has a good demo and explanation video. edit: Here is the video
  19. What's your key ring look like?

https://www.boltlock.com/vehicle_match?make=FORD&model=RANGER&year=2021&type=BASE I use the Mfg website to get the part number, then order on Amazon.
  20. What's your key ring look like?

Yea, not going to send a picture of my keys. That said... Truck FOB, Tracker, Decked Box, House, Mom's House & Mailbox. I have stand-alone keys for my 2012 Escape and 2012 Flex that I grab if I'm driving them anywhere, which is rare. I try to limit my keys as much as possible. Gates around...
