Awesome! Thanks for doing this! What will be the best way to get you the funds?
Zelle? PayPal?
Also, looking at the diagram, It shows connecting the red wire to B+. Should it be connected instead to ACC on? It appears that the second method of wiring uses the central unlock to trigger the...
Figured I would post this here as well: Added to the Forscan Wiki.
Forscan Modification- Disable auto start/stop
726-48-02 x1xx-xxxx-xxxx
1=on 0=off
This perminately disables the auto start stop. The button and dash indicator will still illuminate/function but they no longer do anything.

I verified. Posted in the Forscan Wiki. Someone else...
Hot @ all times. But controlled via the BCM so if battery voltage drops below threshold it will shut it down.
There is most likely a PID for it in the BCM. On my 17 Escape I was able to change the power port state using Forscan (Hot at all times or Hot with ign on). Have yet to poke around the...
I dont know if anyone has read this.

But Ford is trying to keep their nose clean and get cars fixed in a timely manor.
Yes recalls are an inconvenience PITA and your without your vehicle for a bit. I’d rather...
Parts were about $65. The alternative being to find/order a truck with the “Bed Utility Package” 86Q which comes with a plastic drop in bedliner.
This gets you a 20 amp- 12 Volt outlet. Similar to those in the dash. You could probably run a small 12-120v inverter off of it.
Just posted the install. See link above. The outlet is rated at 20 amps. I have yet to test the cooler on it but I know its no where near that. Its Around 6 amps. The only thing that may happen though is the BCM may shut down the power port if it is used for an extended period of time with the...
Ok for the install you will need a 2-1/8” hole saw, 5/16” drill bit, flat and round file, Rust preventative paint of your choice.
Drill a 2-1/8” hole in the side bed wall near the left rear cleat. (See photos below) Use caution when drilling or you will end up with dings protruding from your...
Interesting. Early vin#? Perhaps only on certain trim packages? Technology?
Well you could always add one. The plunger switch and the lamp are actually all one piece. The harness is most likely just taped back onto itself.. is why it seems too short.
Interesting article from Car and Driver. It appears auto makers DO receive some sort of carbon credit for installing start/stop on their vehicles. Appears Buick is going to add a “latching” switch to its setup for those who wish to disable without pressing the button at every startup...
As I posted in another thread. I have ordered (what I and a dealer parts guy) think is needed to add the outlet. Including hardware and the sub-harness. I will post pics of the install and part numbers to those interested. Waiting on parts from Detroit. Just a FYI drilling is required.
NOTE...
So my stepson backed into the Ranger this morning. We have a T shaped driveway. He was parked in front of the garage and my truck was on the opposite side. He managed to clip the passenger side of the rear bumper with his left front fender. Bumper on the Ranger held up pretty well. I think I can...
Switch Inhibit turns off the power lock switches after 20 seconds. Either the ignition needs to be turned on to restore unlocking or the key-fob needs to be pressed.
Mislock is the double honk when you try to Lock the vehicle with the remote but a door is still ajar.
