The problem is I live in LA and there are soooo many times smoking the douche trying to pass me in the on ramp shoulder just feels sooooo good. There are also a lot of Tacoma drivers… and you know how that is. I’m not a challenging driver, but I’m always up to the challenge…
maybe this new...
Starting now, and through the next tank of gas, I'm going to 180 degree change my driving habits and see if I can granny it and see what the MPG is.
The ford performance tune (six months ago) was SUCH a big difference to the acceleration, I may abuse it more than I want to admit....
2019 4x4 Sport. Ko2 LT265/70R17 tires and the Ford Performance tune and Fox performance suspension all four points.
Currently displaying 15.1 on the dash for this tank of gas. Mix of city and highway driving. Why is it so low all the time? :(
Man. I have LT265/70R17 tires and the Ford Performance tune, and around town i get 15 mpg and on a recent 700 mile road trip was lucky to get 20. My truck has always been low on MPG. I don't drive it TOO crazy, but it pains me why it's so much lower than everyone else.
It seems early in its life to already need to flush the fluids - but from what little I could find on the forum, one person said the brake fluid can absorb water and yes needs flushing 'regularly'.

Funny I posted this same question. I have the exact same issue. Same side too.
mine has likely been like this since I bought thr truck in2019.
Any follow up to report?
Edit: looks like there are actually other posts with people who have the same exact misalignment. Very odd.
Bolts are tight. But it’s just bugging me how out of line it is. I’m assuming I can’t adjust without removing the weight from the spring , do you think a shop would just realign it...
Ok thanks. Two years ago there was a minor hit to the left rear bumper which bent it down slightly and was worried somehow that threw that leaf out of alignment. My ocd really wants it centered ;)
Zero noise. You have no idea it's there. In rainy months I have it fully on with both front and rear plastic windows zipped in. But in summer, I take the windows off, and roll the sides up like a safari top. Yes zero security, but I don't keep anything of value in the truck bed. It's a great top.
I can't find another mention of this, and I'm not sure if this is an issue or not, but should the two leafs be slightly out of alignment? You can see the mark left by the bump is far off center. On the right side it's dead center.
Could a small bump to the rear left bumper cause the sprint to...
ok so I’m not crazy. It comes and goes and after a 100+ miles trip last night when I backed the truck up to make a uturn I got the strong burning smell again. Bothers me so much that I can’t find it.
