  1. Exhaust options and sound

Well that sounded much better than expected! Also, not sure which one of us has more grey hair........... Nice mods though! The cupholder swap was an especially nice little piece of work.
  2. Things I feel are missing/or needed on a Ranger

This would be one of my first mods!
  3. Midsize Truck Comparison: Ranger vs Tacoma, Gladiator, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier

I don't think it will be hard to track down all this info. I will look into it for the next update.
  4. Midsize Truck Comparison: Ranger vs Tacoma, Gladiator, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier

I guess I could add in the RPM values each engine hits peak hp/torque. I think the Tacoma's peak torque is at 4k while the Ranger is at 3k.
  5. Exhaust options and sound

Sounds like a not-so-angry bumble bee.
  6. Wireless Charging

Sure can: https://accessories.ford.com/charger-battery.html I have also seen a few options for what could be OEM or aftermarket. Not sure which. http://www.air-charge.com/about-us/automotive/ford-wireless-charging
  7. Wireless Charging

The USB tray in front of the shifter (USB port location) really should have Qi wireless charging built in. Seems like a bit of an oversight with most new phones supporting the feature. Ford does offer a wireless charging kit as an add-on so I know they have the tech. I would expect something...
  8. 2019 Ford Ranger Reviews Compilation

Kinda confused here. He says the Ranger is "Shockingly Quick" and then gives it a 2 out of 10. For comparison, I just added in 0-60 for all midsize trucks. The Ranger is actually the 3rd fastest behind the GM twins.
  9. Midsize Truck Comparison: Ranger vs Tacoma, Gladiator, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier

New: Honda Ridgeline has been added. Updated: Information updates thanks to several forum members @j0shm1lls and @Lrtexasman. Corrected the Ranger Fuel Tank capacity and added the Gladiator Fuel Tank capacity. Columns are now in alphabetical order according to Manufacturer. Chevy/GMC are...
  10. Cheap Front Seat and Back Seat Covers

Ha! I was hoping the reason would be more interesting. My kids keep my vehicle more than dirty enough to justify anything that I can just wipe down.
  11. New Members Introduce Yourself!

    Absolutely gorgeous rig here!
  12. Cheap Front Seat and Back Seat Covers

I must ask why you need waterproof seat covers. I know there are several great use cases but I am curious.
  13. 2019 Ford Ranger Reviews Compilation

Here is the TFL drive video showing the FX4 in the dirt/mud.
  14. Towing

For reference, last time I went down that crazy elevation drop in a Ranger, I just pushed the clutch in and easily held 85 while braking! Crazy that thing slowed you down so much.
  15. Things I feel are missing/or needed on a Ranger

The lack of a 6" bed option isn't that big of a deal to me. Otherwise I completely agree with you here. The wireless cell phone charging especially.
  16. Ranger Suspension, Lift Kits, Leveling Kits

Blocks will work but I would always go with a lifted strut or coilover option. The lifted strut would replace your stock strut but would have a piston length that makes more sense for the longer throw. It would retain your factory coil. A coilover setup would replace the factory strut and coil...

  18. Ranger Suspension, Lift Kits, Leveling Kits

From what I have seen, it looks like a 2.5” front level will run 33s. Running 31s with an extra 1.5 inches of width shouldn’t be an issue if you level. The BDS kits I saw were obviously not production ready. Looked like they put the upper control arm joint in a horrible bind. Didn’t get a good...
  19. Ranger Suspension, Lift Kits, Leveling Kits

Wheel wells are usually the largest determining factor. For instance, an F-150 with 6 inches of lift can easily fit 35s with no rubbing. The same year GM 1500 will require 7 inches of lift and some front bumper valance trimming to fit 35s without rubbing. There are also other issues such as...
  20. ADD is in the Ranger game

The steel these aftermarket bumpers are made from is usually 2x the thickness of the of the stock bumper. They also add quite a bit of weight. I love ADD bumpers but I am also excited to see what the rest of the market comes to the table with. Certain there is no one-size-fits-all solution here.
