Umm no, they always had a 2.5 liter Atkinson cycle for the hybrid.

The lariat model jumped 15k over 3 years with all of the options we have. However we also had to wait 13 months for delivery. So got a smoking deal compared to today’s price.

Nice screen update, if tilted forward more I think sun glare would be an issue. They are a nice little truck, surprisingly peppy. The hybrid sport mode try’s to act like it’s shifting ? maybe different on 2025 models.

My wife loves her 2022 Maverick Lariat Hybrid she got a couple of years ago. The only issue was a cooling pump failure for the high voltage battery. There were a few problems on initial release for some but it looks like they addressed them for later models. I like that green..

Okay we all know gas limits for towing. What would be be the best 5 gallon gas can as back up for towing, easy use etc. It needs to fit under a tonneau. Maybe other options?

@Grumpaw I want to tow. Ok TBC installed getting Toyo LT ATIII and NextGen Clearview mirrors for my 2021 FX4 lariat. What is the best performance vs weight WDH hitch? I’m looking at airstream but not sold due to price. Any suggestions on all of the above?

I’m bouncing back and forth with F150 hybrid powerboost 7kwh battery or keep my Ranger. I’m at 25k miles lariat fx4 paid off. I can certainly upgrade with money savings if I keep it.. IDK..

I just took a ride in my neighbors cyberbeast truck. He’s getting 19 mpg equivalent. Very nice ride but so much for EV economy. No I don’t want one just a comparison in mpg.. I’ll stick to my 22 mpg average..
