Anyone have a dome tweeter replacement that’s direct fit? I’m not looking to replace any other speakers yet. Just got the built-in harness amp ready for purchase.
I want to do my tweeters first as treble is severely lacking on these trucks whereas midbass is overpowered.
Anyone have any...
I made the girlfriend mad when walking passed a 4RunnerBro on the interstate. He was really, really trying.
Not really an achievement since 4Runners are slow and reliable, but it was funny watching the 4RunnerCollegeBro getting walked.
Do these engines mind the abuse? I mean, I like to beat on...
Any of you that own the OEM bug deflector disappointed with how they designed it? It’s held on by tight clamps that only have 3M adhesive under them to prevent from damaging your hood. I installed mine yesterday and I’m debating on removing it after looking at my mother’s 4Runner with the same...
Don't think a direct swap will work. The processor should be the same as the current generation F-150. (I believe) it's mostly just firmware issues at this point.
This is insane. You're doing something that has been needed to be done for so long - dragging a plain daily Ranger. Insane! I love it. Please keep this up, heck I will donate lol.
Although, I am really impressed you don't have the fuel in oil issue with all of that abuse. That 2.3 is taking it...
Try the link I posted for the amp harness upgrade. The factory unit can be replaced in these trucks, but as of now that's a hassle. Not to mention the factory head unit is pretty decent. Upgrade speakers with comps and amp - be done with it.
Very interesting thread.
Looks like the guy never found out how to read the CAN Bus, though.
It would be super neat if we could flash a custom firmware and unlock the modem for future use.
Verizon would be awesome to have on these trucks.
Good point.
I appreciate your optimism and outlook on our future.
Pshffff. :giggle: Honestly, this whole pandemic has me slightly worried. The internet topic got it off my mind.
Back on topic now.
It's viable in areas that are close to the CO. Otherwise, like rural Tennessee, it's useless.
You get less jitter and virtually no congestion during busy times, which is nice.
But in my area it is completely useless. I am roughly 4,500ft away from CO, sadly.
Although it is awesome we are...
He'll be lucky if he gets 2-3Mbps.
DSL is such an old and wasted technology. It's essentially dial-up at this point.
EDIT: Just seen that it is VDSL2. Still a terrible technology.
Can't wait until we are all fiber.
I agree entirely. Dolly is such a wholesome soul. I am religious, and to be honest this seems more like other things is amis. I feel like the entire world will change as we know it.
There is so much pollen. I am going through the same thing with my magnetic truck. May as well be a yellowish grey.
Better spray your truck off or it might turn into a tree. Also, the lights look fantastic.
