Yes, I plan to order it next week sometime. Though, before I shell out cash I am waiting for a response from the person who makes them to see if it may function for us.
Correct. In the post I asked if any users had tested in the new rangers. The harness is almost identical. Which is why we may lose the chimes through the speakers and only have them through IPC.
Every vehicle I have ever owned has had some form of sound system upgrade to it. I don't like to leave things stock when it comes to music. I listen to everything from Lil Uzi Vert, The Steeldrivers, Tyler Childers, The Beatles, etc etc.
I have been in many vehicles with factory systems that...
I don't even have the B&O system. However, I have been in Car Audio for a long time. The factory 6.5s in the doors sound pretty good compared to all the vehicles I have. (4Runner, 2010 Ranger, 2006 F-150, 1994 Blazer). In fact, the factory system in these trucks, even without the B&O, performs...
I can’t get to my truck currently, but I have waited two weeks to install this setup. Good thing I have a friend who works at the dealer who sends some pics lol.
Hope y’all have a great weekend!
I don't ever drive mine in rain, either. Except for this Friday. They're giving rain Thursday night and I have an appointment to get my lift installed Friday. The roads will be wet, so the wheel wells will have muck in them... Back to detailing this weekend.
I'm jailbroken on iOS 12.4, but I really don't think many members here are going to be running a jailbroken iPhone.
CarBridge is pretty awesome though, that is for certain! Great write up.
Now your post clicked in my head. I assumed you were using capacitors to remove noise or smoothing. Now I see you're using it for bridging. Gotcha.
Quite smart! :)
Right. It depends on the home wiring. My home setup relies on them and my house was built in 75'. Hall closet with a Pi-Hole for ad blocking, DVR for security cameras, and Plex server.
On the outside I have PowerLine adapters running two security cameras.
Performance wise, there is definitely...
+1 to @t4thfavor
As someone who has distributed WAPs throughout a ton of locations, I agree with the above post.
Another option is to look at PowerLine adapters with WAPs built in, and decent handoff (depending on the brand you purchase.)
Well, these tires are the same height as factory. I was going for the lifted look with +10 offset while maintaining factory intrusion bars - with this setup there should be no rubbing or cutting at all.
Just got the setup from @Discount Tire! Not going to have it installed this week, but hopefully next week coming up.
I think this setup will look pretty awesome. I shouldn’t rub at all. :)
On the box, it appears as though there are a ton of pieces (rubber, mostly) but on the inside. Nothing is there - unless everything is already installed in the spacer. Which mine looks like it is that way, but I can’t seem to take it apart. Am I missing an components?
