  1. Anyone got a dyno chart for a Roush intake or others?

Yeah, I was thinking more of my idea of what a Roush Ranger should be. I’m not into changing the appearance all that much, more the HP side of things. After doing some more research, it seems like there are better options. The Roush CAI looks pretty sweet with that window and the logo on it...
  2. Anyone got a dyno chart for a Roush intake or others?

Thanks! Looks like I'm going with the K+N and opening up the feed! Have the aFe Magnum scoop planned, but as pointed out in that post, the real problem is the hood restriction.
  3. Hellwig rear sway bar kit is.....

So yeah, stupid me...I just realized there are no strut towers! This is the first vehicle I've had in a long time (if ever) that didn't have them. Looks like I'm going the sway bar route and maybe some urethane bushings in a few critical areas. I'm assuming there is one on the front, just...
  4. My new 2022 XLT is in!

FYI, "A" is right and "B" is left, so you need one of each!
  5. My new 2022 XLT is in!

Okay, so the long promised pics are here...next to the Explorer ST too! The cockpit: Center console: The back seat is a little tighter than my Escape...fine for kids, or EMS gear: The engine bay: The missing hood struts : One hell of a pair: Head on: This one really...
  6. My new 2022 XLT is in!

What push button start? I have to turn a key! It's better anyways...I'm always forgetting the keys in the ST .
  7. Hellwig rear sway bar kit is.....

Coming from an Escape and also having an Explorer ST, I find the body roll of my new Ranger unsettling. I'm used to throwing it into the corners and now I'm finding myself frequently braking at the last second to slow down more...scaring the crap out of the wife. I'm thinking a strut tower bar...
  8. Anyone got a dyno chart for a Roush intake or others?

Well, no custom tune here for at least 3 years as I'm not giving up my warranty...so FP tune it is! Think of this as long-term plans.
  9. Anyone got a dyno chart for a Roush intake or others?

I'm just going to go for the Roush, I guess, strictly on looks alone. I understand that CAIs typically don't do much by themselves, but I'm looking at the overall picture of a FP tune, Roush exhaust and maybe a downpipe.
  10. My new 2022 XLT is in!

This one gave me a chuckle...thanks! Even the wife knows nothing of my plans yet. This puppy is going to give the ST a run for it's money by the time I'm done with it!
  11. Anyone got a dyno chart for a Roush intake or others?

I'm looking at intakes and sheesh, so many options. I'm leaning toward Roush at this point, but they only claim 8 lb ft of torque, no horsepower increase. Mishimoto is 6+ HP on stock everything plus the torque. I like the idea of building a Roush Ranger and will probably get the exhaust as...
  12. My new 2022 XLT is in!

Nope, I ordered it that way.
  13. My new 2022 XLT is in!

We've always gone through the dealership. I spec out exactly what we want with the online builder, print it out, and take it my guy. That way I know I'm getting EXACTLY what I want. Just be sure to order it 4-6 months before you actually want/need it!
  14. My new 2022 XLT is in!

So, here's the proof until I can get some proper outside pics. Sitting in the garage behind the 2020 Explorer ST. I'm proud of our family stable. ;)
  15. My new 2022 XLT is in!

So, it's been overcast and rainy all day today. Sorry folks...going to have to wait another day for the pics :(.
  16. My new 2022 XLT is in!

I'm guessing any OEM spec replacement will work? Anyone got a part number?
  17. My new 2022 XLT is in!

Nope, no markup. He wouldn't even try that with us because he knows my wife and I would walk out. I was just telling him about some of the ridiculous markups I've been seeing on Mustangs and Broncos.
  18. My new 2022 XLT is in!

Yes, the front seats are heated and come on automatically when remote starting if it's under 55 degrees. I don't think I could go back to unheated seats!
  19. My new 2022 XLT is in!

So...pics to follow tomorrow when there is daylight, but yes, IT FOLLOWED ME HOME! I talked to "my guy at the dealer", who is now the sales manager, and I ended up getting $14K for my 2016 Escape SE with 91900 miles, which is more than the KBB private sale estimate. Payments came in right...
  20. My new 2022 XLT is in!

I got the call today. 3 days before the tracker stated too! As long as the numbers work on the trade-in of my Escape, I'll be coming home with her tonight. They REALLY want used vehicles right now, so are paying top dollar. I'm hopeful!
