Limitations? The only limitations I have is the fact that I only get to drive it when I pull it into the driveway to wash it for the wife. I don't think she/I will ever run into any real limitations. After all, if we're being honest, most trucks now a-days can handle about 95% of what the...
Well, my wife's job requires her to off road 90% of the time she's behind the wheel. While the rough country level kit is doing its job in the looks and tire clearance department, she already asking when the coil overs are on the way. Looks like canceling my order for the Icon kit wasn't such a...
The install doesn't take long at all. pressing the splined studs into the spacer is kind of a pain but with a vice or a couple of long wrenches, you'll get them pressed. As with any suspension adjustment/modifications, you will need to get an alignment done after the install.
I seriously doubt you will have any issues, even at the stock height. I had stock 265/60R18 stock and at full lock I remember having around an inch clearance front and back. With a 2.5" level you would have even more. Watch how aggressive your sidewall is going to be, you only have about 3/4"...
I "settled" on the truck I bought when my dealer made a mistake with my special order. My truck doesn't have the "tow package" from what I see the only thing that is missing is the hitch and 7 pin harness. My truck has trailer sway control and also has a setting in the dash to adjust the BLIS...
As far as installing them your self, there are 5 plastic caps on each side under your Rangers body. Just pop them off and the threaded mounting points are underneath. It took me 10 minutes each side. I would recommend doing them yourself and saving the money that you would have paid to haver...
"Addicted Desert Designs" (ADD). It's my first time using them but from a build and service standpoint, I'm impressed. The build was great and they seem extremely strong. They emailed and called me to let me know that they build them per order so it might take a few days to ship. Well, I ordered...
Yeah, I get it. you need to keep your foot out of any vehicle to get better gas mileage. I like to watch my boost gauge on my F-150 and see how long I can go with generating little to no boost.
I find it VERY hard to believe people are getting 25+ mpg. I am getting around 16-18 average over the course of my Ranger's first 300 miles. granted, this is 70-80 percent city driving. I also have a 2016 F-150 with a 3.5 Ecoboost and it has never got anywhere near the mileage quoted. I put a...
Yes, I had to take off the both lower aeros/deflectors. I left them on and they BARELY touched the tire at full lock. Seriously, you couldn't even hear it rub. The problem was when I went in reverse at full lock. It was just enough that the tread on the KO 2's would grab it and fold it up and...
Here are a couple pics during the day. Since the Rough Country level kit did the job for now, I decided to cancel my Icon order and wait to see what all the other Lift/Suspension companies bring to the table.
