  1. Leaves Between Bed and Cab

Had 2019 Lariat with same problem. The way I cleaned it out was to remove the two rubber plugs at the back of the bed. Then i used a hose sprayer to wash it out. Note that I had to force the rubber to one side that is between the cab and bed on the side behind the back doors. this let the larger...
  2. Sure is lonely up here eh?

With respect to "I never had a problem with snow getting in the spokes while I was moving." i understand, the thing abut back roads is you sometime have to go through some heavy drifted areas and I noticed that is when the wheels picked most of the of the build up.
  3. Sure is lonely up here eh?

Very nice look for the Ranger. I have used a open spoke wheel on my SUV's the past couple years. I was very frustrated with the wheels. We do a lot of back road driving and we get a lot of snow and blowing snow in my area. The open design allowed the snow to accumulate inside the wheel and...
  4. Torque steer, has any one experienced this when going around a bend at speed?

I do not know if the stability brakes individual brakes? I know it does control the drive of the wheels. I am not a fan of having the control of vehicle taken away. I find, from being old school, when I react to a stability problem, my reaction sets the stability controls in a counter reaction...
  5. Torque steer, has any one experienced this when going around a bend at speed?

I remember when FWD cars had wild torque steer. I live in a snow area and could control it with no problem, but these new vehicles with traction conrol etc. take control and I was not expecting that. My wife would beat me to rear seat. LOL
  6. Torque steer, has any one experienced this when going around a bend at speed?

I will have to check that (done), I was just out and turned it off using the display via the left side steering wheel control pad.
  7. Torque steer, has any one experienced this when going around a bend at speed?

Thank you, I will most certainly turn that off. The Torque steer was the only explanation i could think of to explain what we were experiencing. I had My Ranger delivered during our isolating and never got a run through on the operation of the truck.
  8. Torque steer, has any one experienced this when going around a bend at speed?

We have a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 and have only now, got to take it on the road, due to home isolating. I experienced a pull to the right when at speed going around a right bend. My wife told me she experienced the same thing yesterday. Has anyone else experienced this?
  9. Rookie Trailer Hitch Question

I would like to add to this comment, which I fully agree with. Years ago, to best of my knowledge, we did not have two piece trailer hitches, we had solid one piece units and when the removable hitches were introduced their were many happy people (shins). Yes, why would you not simply remove it...
  10. Rookie Trailer Hitch Question

I pull a travel trailer with a load leveler, I had to adjust the set up I had for the new truck. The trailer receiver top when leveled is 19 inches. The Ball mounted on the truck is at 23 inches, on a 8 inch drop. I tried setting it up unloaded and was about a 1 inch high. I hope when all loaded...
  11. What car/truck are you replacing with the new Ranger?

My last two vehicles were Mitsubishi Outlander's, both were leases. I needed more trailing capacity and got the Ranger. Tried to get a Tacoma but they would not deal. Happy with the Ford, but I have not got to use it yet, hopefully we will get the trailer on the road soon. I have not had a Ford...
  12. 4x4 or FX4

I lease my vehicles, when returning them at the end of the lease they do not like it to be modified. This is one reason I purchased a ranger fully equipped for what I use them for. The next person to have my vehicle should be happy I did.
  13. Am I Screwed? (Tow rating question.)

And the, as you call them, Stupid ones, that thought they were smart.
  14. Looking to buy have a few equipment questions

About the sound system, I have the 19 Lariat with the 501A package that gives a B&O Premium system. I played with the sound system to see the best setting for me and I was shocked at how little adjustment they provide based on other vehicle's I have had. Very disappointing for a B&O system...
  15. Dealer recall notice?

Had an interesting email from the dealer yesterday. They tell me to bring my 19 Ranger in that I received a couple weeks ago to check for the HVAC fan recall. I asked why are they asking when I just received the truck. She said well it is a new recall and then they stated "The recall was not on...
  16. What are the most annoying TV commercials

PVR (Personal Video Recorder) helps with a lot of them. Watching NASCAR, the same commercial for the past 4 yrs Plus.
  17. Am I Screwed? (Tow rating question.)

I thought we talking about over loading your ranger?
  18. Am I Screwed? (Tow rating question.)

Towing guide https://www.fleet.ford.com/content/dam/aem_fleet/en_us/fleet/towing-guides/2019_Ford_RVandTrailerTowingGuide.pdf (Page 32) " Do not exceed trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. when towing with bumper only" and "(1) Requires optional Trailer Towing Package (53R). " Please remember if you...
  19. "There Are Basically No Sales"

Our local Ford dealer is open on line. Ford is introducing a path forward to sales. I got my truck delivered to my drive way all wiped down and sanitized this week. They drove away in my trade in and the negotiations were completed on line. I signed the documents on the tailgate. I was told next...
