Had an interesting email from the dealer yesterday. They tell me to bring my 19 Ranger in that I received a couple weeks ago to check for the HVAC fan recall.
I asked why are they asking when I just received the truck. She said well it is a new recall and then they stated "The recall was not on the truck at that time. We aren't allowed to let vehicles leave the lot without all recalls being done". I thought well isn't that interesting. So I remembered a ranger 5G thread (THANK YOU) about the HVAC motor recall and I looked in to the dates that the recalls were issued and the dates they were reissued. So I email back and said thank you for your concern and you must have checked the truck already because the date of the recalls were a month before the Ranger was delivered.
I have had no follow up reply?
