Yup. Don't think Ford has any interest in mid size trucks and after the Lightning failed to launch.....
I'm not being facetious, I think OP should get an EV and rent a uhaul for yard work and the like. Keep the battery topped off and the EV won't see issues with 2k miles a year.
Sway bar disconnects bought off a member here who had a small business making these. I never installed them as I just took the sway bar off.
$100+ shipping which should be cheap
I should invest in a carwash considering how many skateboard trucks I see out here on the road.
Running one trail with flares and no mud flaps left a couple chip marks from rocks kicking up, I couldn't imagine how bad it would've been without flares lol.
The skateboard look is cool tho I guess
Nah, truck is just a bit messed up, but it was a non event. Hopefully you didn't get any whiplash from the rear ending. Better to be in a truck for those cases I think.
Seems like your experience was relatively painless so I'm hoping for the same!
Would rather have another ranger than...
Well shit, sucks but hopefully it all works out in the end with a new truck. Hopefully a trouble free 10r80 or 10r60 like the other poster said.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I may be in a similar boat here, will update with my results.
Elephant Hill trail in Moab was a good test of the skids and bumper. Loved the old Heep driver telling me I was about 5 hrs from the end after traveling a few miles (finished the whole trail in under 3 hrs). "You'll take awhile in one of THOSE THINGS" lmao get rekt man, it's not just wranglers...
Coincidentally my hot side intercooler hose clamp was slipping and giving me the same codes this weekend. Was down at the draper dog park when it happened ha
Replaced the OEM intercooler and pipes with the mishimoto kit bought from a member here.
HOLY SHIT this thing is FLYING now. Pulling hard up top like I absolutely do not remember. Feels like I have instant power above 70mph whereas it felt a little weak before. Found myself at 90+ mph on my run...
This reads like an ad so I'll plug my own.
I put on BajaKits uca, similar uniball setup, except that BK uniball bolt is recessed (not sure if that allows more movement) and doesn't require drilling. Also cheaper, even replacement uniballs are half the price.
