  1. CB radio install

Yeah my friends all still have CB and the weather info can useful in the mountains. On my next truck I will probably go GMRS or something. The CB is part of the Ranger now lol Antenna test fit, seems to be working great:
  2. CB radio install

There are surprisingly few threads on this. I have had a CB for 10+ years, mostly for group off-roading trips, but I would just throw it in the back seat with 12V outlet power and a Tram mag antenna out the window. I finally am getting it permanently mounted so it is much easier to use for any...
  3. JXB Driveshaft Center Support

How many washers and how much rear lift do you have?
  4. New Tires Today (BFG KO3s)

Truck likes them, this is a full round trip around Colorado mountain passes
  5. Extended Length Rear Shocks after Leaf Spring Lift? Mine Aren’t (Eibach).

Look at the specs of the Icon rear shocks they match to their own springs: 0-1.5" lift no matter which flavor. Rock crawling you can lift a wheel slowly which is wayyyy different than lifting a wheel fast, or jumping like a baja truck so both drop to full travel at high speed. Unless you're...
  6. For the "Tuned" Ranger crowd - What's your Avg. MPG ?

Feast your eyes on this. My tire size is calibrated with my FPPP tuner, and trust the onboard mpg computer as much as one can
  7. New Tires Today (BFG KO3s)

How are the KO3s for you guys so far? Just got mine today, 265/70-17 in load range C -- I have barely driven on them but they do seem nice and quiet so far
  8. Transmission Replacement after Tune?

I got the Ford tune just after new and 6 years later I'm coming up on 90k, zero concerns
  9. PSA.. Teach your Ranger how to Swim

Yeah that is fast moving water for that depth 💀
  10. Problem linking Ford app to Ranger?

What sync version did you update to? My 2019 lost its connectivity to the Ford Pass app a few months ago after they udpated the app again. It had worked seamlessly since 2019, before that.
  11. Vibration at 70 mph, Driveshaft in question

You went to 33s and that added a vibration at high speed and you are blaming the drive shaft? How do you know it's the drive shaft and not your wheel/tire/alignment combo? You don't. A single piece drive shaft would fix low speed shimmy and is technically WORSE at high speeds. I would not jump...
  12. Has anyone gone over 50,000 miles with no issues?

87k on my 2019, nothing fixed besides an EGR DPFE, and a decent amount of upgrades since day 1 off the lot
  13. Ranger suspension travel...

Yes they came with the stage 6, but both stock bolts broke taking them out and had to be drilled out. I would have left the stock bump stops had I known of that issue.
  14. Driveline vibration help.

Seems like it's the 1.2 degrees at the axle if I had to guess. I would love for this to be solved and made strongly public. It blows my mind that there isn't an aftermarket kit or spacer to fix the vibration with lifts. I had very little / no vibration with the Fox 2.0 leveling setup, but when...
  15. Ranger suspension travel...

... is better than you'd think, LOL! I'd love to see other midsize offroad rigs like the taco, 4runner, colorado, etc. in this position. This is a funny picture because it's with my alloys and Blizzaks on for ski season, in a mall crawl parking spot. This is how it looks with the left on the...
  16. Front End Rebuild (Suspension/Brakes/Knuckle/etc

Fox 2.0 is a great upgrade of FX4 shocks/struts -- they were a more plush ride than my ICON stage 6. I still have my Fox 2.0s and might have them rebuilt or sell them. If you do ANY off roading -- replace the stock stabilizer bar links with aftermarket fully steel ones If you do lots of...
  17. 10R80 transmission poll.

2019 with 85k miles, zero problems besides a new DPFE sensor about a year ago
  18. Limp Mode/Wrench/Check Engine Light

Definitely check/replace the battery first if it's still the original one. All kinds of weird shot happens when it die-dies.
  19. Coil Springs - What is their life cycle?

It's way more work to disassemble the fronts and re-use the old spring and you will have nagging regrets of not getting new ones in while you did all the work. At least get fresh springs to assemble into new front shocks if you are trying to save $ over pre-assembled coilovers.
