I'm installing King coilovers and I'm threading the body down as instructed to get my 3 inches of lift. The thing I don't get is, it seems like I'm permanently sacrificing 3 inches of spring travel so I can have this lift. Seems kinda crappy? Am I missing something? Is there a better way to...
Thanks!
So, dummy me - something... I just unraveled something. I... Feel stupid not knowing this till now, I thought it an urban myth - the winter fuel/summer fuel thing. I didn't realize there were actually different fuel mixtures. But there are, so here's the thing about that massive...
FIRST
I bumped up tire size from 265/65 Hancooks to 265/70 KO2's
- MPG dropped from 22~23 to 16~18.
- I was pretty pissed. If you look at my other threads on here you can see me kinda poking that bear here to see if that was normal and if not, what to do about it. I've reconciled with it now...

Keep me/us posted on what you get around to. Hell, I'm not opposed to bolting it externally if it'll do the job, especially with that ARB bumper which I continue to strongly mull.
Got any pics of it mounted up somewhere?
I am definitely not interested in that, but thanks.
I just want to know if anything clever was required to get the QC connector onto the Smittybilt compressor.
What did you do to get that quick connect adapter put on? I keep running across articles with some elaborate venting thing which does not appeal to me at all, I just want the QC doodad you have, pictured. In fact, I aim to reproduce what you're doing here in it's entirety if it's within my means.
By the way, your fix works great. Thank you. I had a chance to do this yesrerday and made a couple small improvements (I think).
1. I left it centered. You have to clip off the plastic doodad that pokes inward from the front flashing to make room. It took 3 seconds and didn't negatively...
